This is absolutely a game we should win, but by no means is it going to be easy. Cleveland has been very close in several ganes and they view this one as their golden opportunity. Our entire team better bring their A game.

Need a big game from Zeke!
Golden opportunity for what?

I don't think Cleveland views this as a golden opportunity, but I do think the potential for a let down is there. Huge emotional wins can sometimes be draining, and with the growing QB controversy, I'd be shocked if the team wasn't distracted at least some.

emotional win, steelers up next, winless Cleveland team that has been fairly competitive and airs it out and is getting coleman back. nothing would shock me

I'm expecting a difficult game. Cleveland can move the ball, they have been close in several games. I can see Hue Jackson taking chances.

Well, by comparison we were -5.5 vs Philly. This is -1.5 more according to vegas. They are rarely wrong. I don't worry about the offense getting some points, but rather am concerned with the banged up secondary having to slow down their passing game. You guys realize they get their 1st rd pick Corey coleman at WR back from injury too?

Im not trying to spread fear or doubt, but this is FAR from a gimme some are making it out to be.

Your correct. Everyone wants to take down the top dog in either conference to help themselves get well mentally. Especially their coaches. A win against us would help do that and they are ultimately competitors and still playing hard for their coach. We need to bust their noses right off the first snap. You don't want to let this team hang around.
This will be an interesting game to see if our coaches have them ready against this "easy, terrible" team.

I'm sure that Browns team can sneak up on any team that mails it in thinking it's an extra bye week....

Didn't their QB last week throw for 300 yards??
And they still lost by double digits.

Big spreads in the NFL are rare. As more people bet Dallas I expect the line to move somewhere between 8-9 though. If its any less I may have to bet my mortgage

Law of avgs. 6 game winning streak vs their 0 for. They are getting healthy Dallas has some injuries. Odds are they will get at least 1 win this year, each week they lose the odds go up they win that 1 game

Thats not factoring in HFA which puts the actual difference in the teams around Dallas -2.5 vs Philly and Dallas -10 vs Cleveland.

Every trap game I've seen sets up like this one. Everyone is taking a win for granted. We have no pass rush, just lost a cb and safety, and the last game and half Dak has been coming down to earth a little. If they come out throwing heavy we could be in for a long afternoon. Hope I'm wrong

Gotta hold the browns to very little/ if any points in the first half and then smooth sailing from there. They score their points in the first half and fall apart so we should be good. I'll guess it'll be something like 31-17 good guys.

Big point spreads are rare for NFL football teams, especially when the favored team is visiting.

Being favored by 7 away is equal to 10 points at a neutral site. Think we'll win by more, though.

fredp22 has a good point. Even teams that eventually won championships at season's end have encountered trap games along the way sometimes--and have been defeated by the most unlikely of opponents. Sports happens.

I seem to remember Pac-man saying "It's the Rams, man" promptly before they stomped our *****. No game taken for granted. I remember the 92 or 93 team losing a much inferior Rams team, also. It's also the first game that we'll play without Church and Claiborne. Coleman, Crowell, and Terrell Pryor are no jokes either. There aren't any gimmes in this league and Dallas better be ready to play or they could embarrass themselves.
