Kendricks and not yet an argumental point. If we take LVE out, the issue remains that we have no cover at MLB that can stop the run.
Aide to Ukraine?
Kendricks spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Minnesota Vikings. He played seven of those years under Zimmer, the Cowboys' new defensive coordinator.
The former second-round pick tallied 919 tackles, 15 sacks, and nine interceptions during his Vikings tenure. Kendricks, a 2019 All-Pro, registered 117 tackles and 3.5 sacks for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023.
After getting released by Los Angeles last week, Kendricks looked poised to join a ferocious 49ers defense. However, the 32-year-old appeared to have a change of heart.
He'll play for last year's No. 5 scoring defense instead of the No. 3 point-prevention unit. Kendricks can help a Cowboys defense that ranked 18th against the run after playing most of the season without Leighton Vander Esch.
