I heard 8-8 has become the new 13-3 for this franchise. We give victory Mondays for going one game above .500 now (see last week).

Isnt it sad? Isnt it sad what this franchise has become?

I know what you are saying...but I will even settle for this...Jerry can keep the team, but him and his blowhard son have nothing to do with the football operations. Including, but not limited to: no drafting, no doing contract, no personnel moves.

Wouldnt that be beautiful?

Yes but he will never agree to such a structure... He wants baaaaaadly to say "see I told you I could do it without Jimmy"

Sometimes you have to take a step back in 1 year to take 3 steps forward the year after that. Dallas needs to get rid of these big contracts and start building for the future. I would like to know where the cap space to resign young players like Dez, Smith, and Carter is going to come from if Dallas doesn't start to get rid out the old bloated contracts.

The time to blow the team up was before signing Romo to the big contract. When that contract was signed, it meant that Jerry was willing to go down to the bitter end with the current core. Like it or not, Ware , Witten and Romo are the players that Jerry is banking on for the next few years.

Its time to trade Witten to the highest bidder.

Ware is going to see the HOF in a Cowboys jersey.

But if we were gonna blow things up, id rather we wouldnt have extended romo with this stable of QBs comin up in the draft.

Doing that will cause you to be without money for Carter, Dez, and Smith. Being too loyal to your old core will cost you your future core. You can still keep Romo and move on from Ware and Witten. I think having Escobar would actually open up the offense and cause Romo to throw more towards Dez and it would save 7 mill off the cap. Besides Brady and Manning are showing that QBs can play well into their late 30s, the same cannot be said for DTs, DEs, and even TEs.

Hahaha...Now suddenly its time to trade or cut hall of fame TE Jason Witten who is still extremely productive and reliable.

How many receptions did Witten have last season?

What is sad is seeing what our fan base has become.
How dare Witten try to stand up to Dez on the sideline......Do that any 100 receptions seasons and a hall of fame career will mean nothing. U have to go....haha

There is a lot of money tied up in numerous Cowboys who are not performing well. Releasing Ware and Witten might incur a large cap hit. Miles Austin also can't stay healthy and is average at best recently but his salary is high. Throw in Ratliff and Spencer and their 0% rate of return this year. And who knows with Romo? He has had something like 3 games recently where he has been innaccurate.

The big money players are failing the team right now. The future does not look bright unless we hit on a few more drafts like the past couple of years. That is our only hope.

I'm really upset ware and witten let the Lions drive down the field on 4 plays. Witten is healthy. He should have intercepted that pass or at least had a sack
