I REALLLLLY want us to sign Buster Skrine this off-season. He is a scrappy CB with major speed. A mini Orlando Scandrick. He is familiar with Henderson from his Cle days. Instant upgrade at CB and won't cost a ton.

Sterling Moore was absolutely horrific today by the way. He was as bad as any CB we have had in years. I mean horrible.

i like Skrine, good choice and wont break the bank.

I'll be honest -- until today I thought Sterling Moore was having a real fine season.

He picked an awful time to have his worst game of the season. Having said that, I saw Adams beat Oscan also and in general make most of the DBs look bad. He looks like the real deal.

With the way FA works, Skrine will get Brandon Carr money. It seems that young players with potential are paid for what they can be vs what they have done. Skrine will command a lot of money.

You guys should also consider that a big part of a team is the chemistry, this team has a lot of chemistry and you can´t buy or draft that... Hopefully we can re-sign most of this players and upgrade in the draft.

I said in the game thread, but to me, Moore looked like he wanted to be anywhere other than GB.

It's like the cold got into his head and he was moving like he was running in sand and his reactions appeared really slow.

Perhaps it was just a bad game, but I was not happy with him. Geez, I totally despise Carr (the player) and felt like he was better than Moore today.

I'm not so sure about Rolando McClain anymore... I would be hesitant to re-sign him. I like Benardrick McKinney

McClain will probably come back cheap and I don't think a concussion is a good reason to cut a guy, keep him.
Starting next year with only one HB on the roster seems silly, bring back Dunbar at least for training camp.
Carter might still be our best LB, depending on how much he wants (doubt he will get much elsewhere) keep him.
Maybe see about truly restructuring Carr, especially if we are going to a man cover scheme.

My biggest concern for McClain is can he make it thru NFL season. Dallas has handcuffed themselves with MLBs who can't stay on field (Lee & McClain). Now some of this can be attributed to poor play at DT that is allowing OL to get to second level and punish LBs. You simply can't hand McClain a sizable contract. Ideally you sign him to friendly 2 year deal. Its going to be interesting to see what market price will be for McClain & Carter.

You can only fill so many holes each off season so the last thing you want to do is create more than you can fill. Overall I agree with your list but would consider keeping Free, Spencer and Carter.

Right. According to the OP, we're losing all of these players for a team who already has holes in it. We're creating more holes with these moves.

9. Bruce Carter - I know he really came on at end but Dallas needs to rebuild DL so Carter and McClain are out (Lee, Hitchens, Durant are my LB starters in 2015).

So you get rid of the healtheliest linebacker you have in Carter. I pray they don't go into next season hoping and praying Durant and Lee can stay healthy.

And what did Lance Dunbar do that was so bad? He had limited opportunities but overtime he got the ball it was productive in the limited time he did get it. I can see beign disappointed he didn't get more touches but disappointed in him?

we need a proven back up QB, (not a rookie), any going to be available?

I believe Beasley and Leary are both RFA's. I expect both to sign a 1-year deal at their respective qualifying offers. Cheap for one more season, then make a long term decision after 2015.

I generally agree with the list, but I'd really like to keep Carter. He's the right kind of LB for today's NFL.

The only one we have that has speed and a knack for getting INT's. Well Sean Lee does too but he can't stay on the field. I really think we need to bring all of our LB's back this year. Bring Durant, Carter and Mcclain back and make this position a strength. Not to mention that any of them can go down.

It depends are you willing to spend decent size money. You almost have to go with a rookie being they are cheap and can be productive. People hate Weeden around here but for the price he was about as good as you can get. Guys like Colt McCoy, Michael Vick, Mark Sanchez.....the market is going to be too high for them. Its hard to invest a lotto money in a backup when you need investing in your defensive line.

I think what most of us might not consider is that a great QB like Rodgers can make any CB look bad if he is not under duress. Even a gimpy great QB.

Most puzzled by Ro Mac. Strange way to end the year with "head injuries" IF he was having real concusion issues at this rate, he might just retire again and for good reason.
