Sacks and pressures allowed are partially QB issues. Dak is notoriously slow with his reads a lot of the time.
BULLSnot!

Dak gets rid of it on time almost every play UNLESS at the snap an OL whiffed and sends him running OR how about when Wrs not getting opened quick enough or not open at all , and dak has to come to his 4th read..

get over it, i watch the games hes NOT holding onto it too long.. that was a5 yr old narrative that IMHO doesn't apply.. Show me the QB stats on how daks release time differs from other then we can talk..some nonsense from Dak hater doesn't hold water when the total function of play is all 3 phases of the snap to qb, the OL blocking well at the snap, and the WR getting open..
trying to cover up an OL stat blaming the qb without the rest of the information ie was thew routes al long, was the wrs open when they should have been.. its all timing and many factors each play will show its on one part of the play, a different player is to blame or the play call having too deep of routes called etc,,

Just stop the hate. we see right through it,

QB holding the ball too long hurts that stat. But our pass protection isn’t great.

This is win rate, not sacks (of which Dallas happens to be among the fewest surrendered in the league. How is that possible with our trash QB who holds the ball too long?!)

What the QB does on the play has nothing to do with your pass block win rate which is the % of passing plays that an offensive lineman sustains their block for 2.5 seconds or more.

Dang, I mean, I've seen some breakdowns with the line this season, but I didn't think it was that bad. Interesting. Wonder if inserting Tyron Smith and doing a little shuffling will help or hinder this?

If Tyron is healthy putting him at LT would be a massive uptick.

Adding Tyron will most certainly help. Tyler is near the basement of starting LTs in pass block win rate while Tyron is perennially top 4 in the statistic.

The real strength of this line is just blowing people off the ball in the run game. I can live with the suspect pass pro if we can run the ball and use play action effectively to negate teams' pass rush.

Whether you’re over him or not he’d be a clear cut upgrade at LT if healthy.

He allowed 7 pressures last year…Tyler has allowed that in 1 game this year.

We'll see how long he lasts out there. And which game was that?

Steele is susceptible to a speed rush.
McGovern struggles with bullrushes.
Biadasz has no lateral quickness.

But that's all on Dak, right?
