Former LSU football player Claude Wroten Jr. was arrested Thursday on one count of simple criminal damage to property.

Wroten, St. Louis Rams defensive lineman, was charged after officers were dispatched to West Campus Apartments around 9 p.m. regarding a disturbance.

LSUPD spokesman Maj. Lawrence Rabalais said officers found Wroten and his girlfriend having an argument regarding the end of their relationship.

Rabalais said Wroten requested items he bought for his girlfriend to be returned to him.

Rabalais said the girlfriend refused, and Wroten allegedly forcibly entered her room by kicking the door open and removing the items.

Wroten, who is no longer a University student, was issued a misdemeanor summons for damage to property.

Wroten was also arrested in 2006 for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

I wish that I was only feeling like I had been stabbed.

This strikes even closer to home than any other former LSU player. The young man played for my high school alma mater. Even though he graduated well-before the '05 and '06 state championships, he was considered one of the cornerstones who helped build the school into a state power over the past decade.

His father doesn't deserve this crap. The D.A. dropped the drug charges abruptly last year after a very suspicious investigation took place, but none of that matters now. Claude Jr. couldn't stay out of trouble.

People here do not know how much this pisses me off. It's hard to even type this.

Funny, I thought I read an article just yesterday about how doing drugs before the combine was a juvenile mistake and he'd really learned from it and wanted to move on.

Yea the same guy 21 other teams passed on

The same guy that has found his way onto his 3rd team in his career

the same guy that has been criticized for giving up on plays, and quitting on his team

the same guy who walked off the field in the middle of a game

the same guy who openly admitted to doing marijuanas while he was playing

Yea we really shouldn't have passed on him

I liked you better when you were riding B.Q. At least he's not a complete waste of time

26 teams passed on Marino...What's your point.

Well at least 3 teams wanted him...With two willing to trade for him.

Nobody's trading for Ellis.

Nobody but Moss himself said anything about playing for himself or taking plays off...Not his team mates.

He didn't walk off in the middle of a game it was at the end when the result was decided.

Should he have no...But it was hardly a criminal offense.

Don't give me that crap about MJ. He admitted it...the vast majority don't...I'm NOT going to fault him for that.

What are you talking about as far as BQ?

Brady Quinn?

I've never rode him...I'm a Troy Smith Fan...You obviously as usual don't know what you're talking about.

lol, sorry wrong cowboy haha. Long day today.

And he admitted to doing it, doesn't mean that he should be exanurated for doing it.

you know when a criminal admits to murder you know what happens? He goes to jail. They just don't let him go free

I really don't think anyone can say that the Raiders wanting you, is a accomplishment, heck if i ran out there today and looked like i could play WR, they'd take me.

and nobody is trading for ellis, because he's oh i forgot HURT

bottom line, at the state the cowboys were in, at that juncture, Moss was not going to be drafted. It's not like we didn't have irvin.

I would take Moss over Greg "Whiner" Ellis any day. Apparently, so would Belichick.

You gotta admit, Tom Brady and Randy Moss, scary... glad they're in the AFC.

Having Irvin on the roster is not why we passed on Moss. The stupid Cowboy front office painted themselves into a corner and we went into the draft with only one starting DE. What a blunder.

Randy Moss is a quitter, not to mention a off the field hassle..

He's a better player that Ellis...And the Cowboys are a worse team because they didn't pick him.

If they pick Moss...They don't have to go after Owens.

Jerry Screwed up!

And I love Jerry!
