Signed by Cowboys Dallas re-signs Bryan Anger

  • As much as I loathe giving him any credit at all. Good job, Jerry.

Love this!!!!!!!! He is a good one. Glad he will be a Cowboy for a while.
That's the thing about some of these allegedly small insignificant signings,

think about this the operations of field goals ;are your long snapper to your punter..

so, Aubrey can do his thing, you start messing with that you can start having another kicker go South...

so, it's very important that we got most of our special teams back including Turpin it's just familiarity.

there's no reason to laugh and mock these signings I see it on Facebook people are like Super Bowl see more crap signings seriously doesn't every team have to have these positions filled including the bottom 30 players some of the most important signings are those role players you need players that can help your team that aren't making a lot of money because there's a hard salary cap they're not all going to be pro bowlers they're not all going to be players with significant snaps...

Wasn’t our new ST coach a plumber recently?
It's funny how you guys are on here so much and you don't pay attention to actually real news and facts..

he was a defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers kind of funny you think he can't be a special teams coach you're saying that if a player or coach has to step down then they're not gonna be no good for the position they were hired in or you can look at it as a positive that he's overqualified and should have a lot to offer that position...

So for the last three years he's been on a Super Bowl contender kinda odd you thought he was a plumber...enjoy

The current special teams coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys is Nick Sorensen, as reported by the Dallas Cowboys and Sports Illustrated.

Here's a more detailed look at his background and the context of his hire:
  • Background:
Sorensen, a 10-year NFL veteran as a defensive back, played for the St. Louis Rams, Jaguars, and Cleveland Browns before transitioning to coaching.

  • Coaching Experience:
He has experience as a defensive coordinator, as well as assistant coach on the Seattle Seahawks staff.

  • Reunited with Brian Schottenheimer
Sorensen and Schottenheimer have previously worked together in Seattle and Jacksonville.

  • Previously with the 49ers
Sorensen most recently spent the last three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, including last year as the defensive coordinator.

  • Why he was hired:
The special teams job was vacated by John Fassel, whose contract expired along with the rest of the Cowboys coaches.

Punter makes more than the RBs in Dallas
some of you are just clueless and think you're comedians, but you're not, funny it's not even true literally the Cowboys have one of the best running backs in the NFL most of the time over the last 30 years..

they only had two years where they didn't have a premium running back and that would be 2015 and what they do the following year they got Ezekiel Elliott in the draft and then last year they thought it they had it covered and they didn't ...

the last time I checked Jerry Jones has paid the running backs big time money, I mean did you not see the three big contracts that Emmitt Smith got, did you not see what Ezekiel Elliott got paid ?

they have one year where they don't address the running backs and we get the peanut gallery making jokes about it, it's not about how much money you pay them, last year's mistake wasn't them not going after one of these free agent running backs it was not addressing it in the draft..

I'll take two rookies on rookie deals right now from this coming draft and I think they could they could pull it off get a guy in the second round that you target as a future starter and you can get a guy in the fifth round we got like 5 fifth round picks coming maybe you can package those get in the fourth round..

why is it everybody worries about Jerry's money that's not your money you don't have to pay running backs to be successful most of them are better on rookie deals.

But again, I want you to go back in history and look at how much the Dallas Cowboys have paid their superstars and realize we basically overpay most of them they're always top five in money they always resign here we didn't have one to pay last year. But again I prefer to have rookies every four to six years and not overpay the running backs have a fresh leg stud out of the draft..

but hey you build your team the way you think it needs to be built and I'll build mine in my head the way I think it should be built and overpaying running backs yeah I know saquon Barkley was a an anomaly last year..

but did Derrick Henry did he truly make the Ravens better, because they were not in the championship game with him, but they without him.. Did Christian McCaffrey at $19 million actually helped the 49ers nope the question and the answer would be, no.

Most overpaid running backs are not the ones playing in the Super bowl and now that Saquon Barkley got $20 million I'm betting he probably doesn't play in the Super bowl this year because every year he doesn't play out the same so matter fact when McCaffrey got his $19 million new deal he immediately was back on IR he had one healthy season got paid and back on IR give me fresh legs and a young rookie deal every time... deal every time

apparently, you missed all the backlash from jerry paying Ezekiel Elliott.. Who by the way deserved it but at the same time didn't live up to it and it happens all around the NFL...

Actual facts 2024 salaries:
RB1 -Rico $1.2M
RB2 - Zeke $2M
P - Anger $3M

why is this fanbase so enamored, a lot of you who cares how much money players make, that NOT YOURS!!

, they make what if he was the rookie, you remember when Zeke was a rookie when he was at his best the first four years, what about the money he made, but this isn't 2024 anymore, so you can't compare 2024 salaries to a punter salary this year,

Elliott(dead money on the cap 6million!) is probably going to be out of the league and Rico will be making more money elsewhere. Gotta love these posts first we were overpaying Elliot when he was making 11 million in the highest paid back in the league and nobody really liked that deal but now that we have backs under less deals we don't like that either that's why you guys need to stay in your lanes stop trying to be owners or GM you're not NFL people you're not even close...

Kareem hunt basically pulled off the street last year for KC played most of the year for DRUM ROLL Please........1.2M, Pacheco 900K wow those cheap SB runner-ups, cheapskates always bringing in trash. ahh perspective

but somehow 1.2M got the Offense and Jerry over 1K, that is great value. What you do not understand about business, value that provides production is a STEAL!!...smart business.

we should have paid Henry 8MIL to not make an AFCCG like the ravens but still end up with us not in the playoffs..Perspective.. could have paid CMAC 19MIL to win 6 games yeee-haw!!!

But 2025
anger 3M
J Williams backup RB= 3M hmmmmmmmmmm

When you sign your not anymore so good punter because he is the holder for your kicker. and that kicker wants to have his LS back - and you sign him.....

Then you know what people in charge think about our elite qb.
