Cannot wait for the game tonight. It sucks it's a 10PM start though. Am I a homer for believing the Stars could win the series? I'd take the Stars in 6 or 7 games, but no way the series ends in 4 or 5 games.

It's funny because the Stars have been the better team yet they just cannot win. Jamie and Tyler haven't done anything and the defense is awful. We could have used Robidas more than the 4th round pick we acquired for him. The best players on the team are Garbutt and Chaisson. Hopefully Brenden Dillon will be back in time for Game 3.

Depth played well last night but I disagree Benn and Seguin haven't done anything. Bad turnovers at inopportune times got punished.

So now we've played better than the Ducks in 7 of the 9 periods played. That 1st period game one and 2nd period game 2 really cost us. It just got a whole lot more interesting though.... Go Stars!

It was an exciting win, but the real test comes tomorrow. Dallas can force a best of 3 series coming off of this home stand or Anaheim can head home with a chance to clinch. Huge game for them tomorrow.

Electrifying game! No doubt Dallas has the best home ice advantage in the playoffs. As long as we win ONE game in Anaheim, we will win the series. Plus, we get Brenden Dillon back. This is the type of series that will turn you into a hockey fan if you weren't already! Go Stars!

I was at the game last night, and what a great game it was. The crowd had the place rocking, and the Stars played a hard fought game. Anaheim won the first period, but Dallas took over in the second, and third. It's hard not to like this team. They are young, energetic, and never give up. I can't wait for friday nights game.

Just plain and simple got our arse beat tonight. The power play was horrific and Kari just couldn't make many saves. I'm not so sure whats so hard about playing in Anaheim. They hardly have a home ice advantage, but whatever. Looking forward to Sunday night.... sort of.

Throw away that game. Garbutt taking that stupid penalty set the tone for disaster.

That one hurts, but props to them on one hell of a season. On to next year.

Not sure why Kari was doing snow angels, but whatever. I'm going to go work out, so pissed at that game right now lol.

You Stars fans should be proud. That is a scary looking team you have there. Beef up the blue line and maybe goaltending - was this an aberration for Lehtonen?- and the Stars are a force.

A young team learning some hard lessons on the way is only going to make them better. Seguin didn't get on the score sheet as much as I'm sure he hoped but he definitely was engaged and flying all over the place. I could have sworn I even saw him working the front of the net on the PP!!

Great series and (profanity deleted) the Ducks!

I saw where they lost & felt bad for Dallas.

Hopefully next season will end up with a different result!

Ya, Kari definitely didn't have his best series. I've seen him play at a much higher level, but I think a lot of it was that he was overworked over the course of the season. He logged over 3800 mins and I believe only 3 goalies logged over 3700. What Dallas needs to do is get Kari a more reliable backup to shoulder a bigger load over the course of the season. Thomas came in very late, and I think his style of play isn't suited well for our defense, which is only slightly above average. The good thing is that Dallas has some promising prospects in the system at goaltender. Jack Campbell should be ready within a couple of years, and I think Kari will be fine until Campbell is ready.

I believe Dallas grew a lot in that series.
