Atlanta also gave the Saints fits in NO. They were healthy then.

Regardless of what Saints fans think, the Cowboys can win this game...it just depends on who shows up - the mistake prone team we've come to know over the past several weeks (years), or a team that has decided to actually put in a full day's work and deliver.

If the Cowboys have no letdowns, change things up a bit, do the unexpected, play mistake free, take care of the ball, and find a way to get into the enzone instead of stalling on the 25 yard line and missing the FG (you know, things that good teams do as a matter of course), they can beat the Saints.

The problem is, what are the chances that that team shows up? The one that doesn't make it easy for the other team?

Yeah...I doubt it too.

Yes, I expect the Cowboys to attack the secondary. That is why the pressure on Romo is so vital. And, if that does happen, I will be back. No problem. I just can't see it happening. I could have seen a loss at Atlanta, or at Washington, though. Both of those games Payton sat out players that could have easily played. He did the same thing coming into the Patriots game. You can take that as a big compliment. He clearly wants to have the guns loaded against Dallas.
I'm not sure how many players Payton "sat out" against the Skins, but it could not have compared to how many players the Commanders had either sitting on the sidelines injured or on IR. The Saints never should have needed to take a 3-8 team missing 7 starters and playing 3rd stringers on the OLine and at RB into overtime...unless of course the Commanders are just that good lol

I fear Dallas will give the Saints a much better game than people expect (although they'll still lose lol ;) )...

Saints fans will be in a frenzy.

Cowboys, true to form, won't be able to make the crucial plays.

Saints win, 34-21.

^^^That's how I see it.
DWare has a fractured foot, fractured wrist, sprained neck and he expects to play so I think I can at least support my team and say;

Dallas defense finds a way to slow down the mighty Breezus machine, maybe a turnover or two (they're due) and Romo slings the rock all night knocking a wheel off the saint's bandwagon.

Coachless Cowboys = 9
Superior Coaching Staff Saints = 44
And on the sidelines Sean Payton will be smiling each time Drew Brees has a 5Td day with a rating of 136.

It's not the Saints fans you need to worry about, it's the Cowboys fans who think we don't have a chance. At home, I think we steal this one. On the road, I'm not as sure we can. But I'll go with Dallas 28, NO 24 just to give this thread some backbone.

The game is alot closer than expected: about as close as the San Diego game; but the Saints go up 2 TD's late in the 4th. Garbage-time TD from Romo to Roy. Romo has 3 td's, 1 interception; Folk makes from 45 and 43, but misses from 38 in a key situation in the 3rd.

I'm actually predicting a close game that could go either way. I expect us to get pressure on Drew Brees.

I don't like the fact that Bush is back in action. While Bush was out, I believe we would have matched up very well in man-to-man with their receivers, but Bush is a nightmare matchup for any of our LBs or safeties. Due to Bush alone, when he's in there, I expect we'll be in zone coverage because we can't afford to have our backs turned on him.

I do think we can score on their defense, and I do think we'll get our share of stops on D.

I'm going to predict this game, like many others, will come down to one score at the end...it's unlikely we'll do what we haven't done so far, but it's possible.

Repeat of the '06 beat down Dallas got, only worse. 49-17 Saints!!!

The Saints have never and will never win anything worth anything.

Awful teams have given the saints problems.

The Cowboys will make it a game and with some luck, we'll take the W.
