Dallas Wins - Loses 2 spots in ESPN Power Rankings

I wonder how close the 0-3 Titans are on our heels? :laugh2:

Honestly guys, EggHead is just doing this for ratings. He knows that if he ranks the Cowboys at 17, the hurd of you will be reading the damn rankings and responding, which is exactly what he wants to happen.

Snap fellas. All we need to do is win and the rest takes care of itself.

Is Sando a Philly homer? Sounds like it.

These ratings are stupid, they've always been stupid, and they always will be stupid. And it's because the people who make them are stupid.

Denver is a joke. 0-3 Carolina > 3-0 Denver.

These rankings give good entertainment. I have a strong feeling the IQ's of the presenting journalists match the Dallas ranking. Certainly that's the case with Clayton, and Sando.

I'm not really impressed with any team thus far, except maybe Tampa Bay and Carolina. No team deserves to start September off with a schedule like that. So they get my No 1 and No 2 ranking due to unfairness and imbalance.

Teams like Pittsburgh, Denver, Baltimore get ranked at the bottom of my poll.

Then I insert the entire NFC East at 3, 4, 5, 6, out of pure bias. Giants, Eagles, Cowboys, and Commanders. I do think the loss to Detroit was an aberration. (Or maybe its JC that's the aberration. I get confused). Then from 7-29 its a crapshoot, depending on strength of schedule to this point.

On a more serious note, the Cowboys are going to put me in the hospital when all is said and done. And I'm just not feeling the Cowboys for Sunday against Denver. Sorry.

Probably because the first half of last night's game sticks out to me like a bomb threat. So now, I just want to run and find a safe place to hide until Sunday's game is over. Speaking of watching something. Wasn't Bobby C quite the ad for what not to do as a professional football playah? (Note to Bobby: the field at Jetson stadium is not planted with land mines)

And lastly, I have an award to give out this week. The StarWiz Courage Award goes to Patrick Crayton. That evasive technique thingy he used to avoid a minor collision with Carolina's poky little punter was extremely effective. I'll have to try that sometime when I'm watching the Cowboy's play the Giants again.

what if we go 9-2(a good chance too).where will they put us?

well if we drop 2 spots every win we will be sitting 10-1 and be ranked 33rd:laugh1:

denver is horrible. beating them won't mean anything.

Not to the a-holes who put together this list. Of course a loss would drop us below 25 for certain.

Can you hate more than BSPN does? I'm not saying we are top 10 but honestly...moving us down after a win. I'm beginning to feel this is a college football poll and you have to beat your opponent by 50 just to get respect. Does Clayton even watch football?

17 (15) Cowboys 2-1-0 Tashard Choice and Felix Jones prove the Cowboys can still have a running offense when Marion Barber is injured. (Clayton)

We didn't look very good in many areas last night, which is probably why we didn't pick up any ground. Although the running game has been fantastic I suspect that he's factoring in the questionable health status of our 2 top rushers. A convincing win over Denver will elevate us for sure. But it doesn't matter in the end.

Who cares about rankings? I'll take 16 one point wins and 3 one point wins in the playoffs.

The Cowboys beat a team they should have beaten and the final score wasn't indicative of how close a game it was.

As of yet this team hasn't played a complete game. Play a complete game and beat Denver on the road and you'll see a nice jump in the rankings.

Beating Denver is the measuring stick?

qft..

We played very flat. Carolina is horrible. We deserve to fall in the rankings. We are a marginal team right now. Say what you want but ESPN is actually accurate on this one.

One thing about CowboysZone....when we lose we stink....and when we win we smell bad.

I have reservations about the team and some hope....and there is a lot of football left to play. We'll see.

I have some hope too, but after a + 10 year drought my faith in Jerruh has finally overcoming my hope in the team.

There is plenty of talent on this team IMO, but the coaching and the GM will keep us low on the ESPN ratings.

I honestly don't know why any Cowboys fan gives a rat's *** about esbn's silly-***** rankings.

Probably because Cowboys only beat two 0-3 Teams (Bucs and Panthers)

we still have to beat them to help make them 0-3
