These rankings give good entertainment. I have a strong feeling the IQ's of the presenting journalists match the Dallas ranking. Certainly that's the case with Clayton, and Sando.
I'm not really impressed with any team thus far, except maybe Tampa Bay and Carolina. No team deserves to start September off with a schedule like that. So they get my No 1 and No 2 ranking due to unfairness and imbalance.
Teams like Pittsburgh, Denver, Baltimore get ranked at the bottom of my poll.
Then I insert the entire NFC East at 3, 4, 5, 6, out of pure bias. Giants, Eagles, Cowboys, and Commanders. I do think the loss to Detroit was an aberration. (Or maybe its JC that's the aberration. I get confused). Then from 7-29 its a crapshoot, depending on strength of schedule to this point.
On a more serious note, the Cowboys are going to put me in the hospital when all is said and done. And I'm just not feeling the Cowboys for Sunday against Denver. Sorry.
Probably because the first half of last night's game sticks out to me like a bomb threat. So now, I just want to run and find a safe place to hide until Sunday's game is over. Speaking of watching something. Wasn't Bobby C quite the ad for what not to do as a professional football playah? (Note to Bobby: the field at Jetson stadium is not planted with land mines)
And lastly, I have an award to give out this week. The StarWiz Courage Award goes to Patrick Crayton. That evasive technique thingy he used to avoid a minor collision with Carolina's poky little punter was extremely effective. I'll have to try that sometime when I'm watching the Cowboy's play the Giants again.
