...of what?

if you think Dallas loses, then why? what weakness do you see a playoff team exposing? I am having a hard time answering that question...

other than a turnover filled meltdown, I think we are in great shape...

I don't see any reason for us not to win.

I think we're simply a better team than Philly.

If we lose it'll come down to mental mistakes....like breakdowns in coverage, poor tackling, penalties, turnovers.

If we can stay focused, then I don't think Philly can beat us.

I think we're the most complete team in the NFC playoffs.

run game
pass game
run D
pass D
special teams

Can't really find a weak link in there other than FG kicking.

Against Philly, at least:

1) They hit on a couple of big plays. I think we're built well to stop the big plays, but stuff happens. A player can slip up mentally or physically one play, and that can be all the difference.

2) Their interior blitz kills us. We've done remarkably well about protecting Romo recently, but this has been one of the more disconcerting aspects about pass protection at times. Oh, and the Cole vs. Flozell matchup still worries me.

Honestly, those are the only things about them that scare me. They blitz the heck out of us and/or hit a few deep plays. I think we're playing very sound football right now.

Well it depends whether or not teams catch Hamlin, Scandrick or Carpenter 10 yards off the receiver.

We are a smoking hot team right now, and no team in the NFC should scare this squad.

:laugh2:

I talked to a few Saints fans today, and they are happy that Dallas is the 3rd seed instead of the 6th. They claim they want a victory in the playoffs before having to face Dallas.

I smelled fear!

We have the same officiating crew and they have to make up for their losses on their bets on the Eagles this week. I kid. I kid.

For the Eagles its simple, they hit on some long plays and get to Romo with their blitz package.

the only way we can lose is if we beat ourselves with stupid penalties and turnovers. i trust romo to protect the ball, but i hope our other guys don't fumble.

As good as the Cowboys have been lately, they still take wayyy too many penalties and lose focus too often (4 false starts, 2 neutral zone).

Eventually, that could catch up.

I think every team has weaknesses and strengths.

The Cowboys biggest weakness to me is the Field goal situation. You can't help but feel like after all the strides this team has made to be championship caliber, we're still playing with a field goal kicker of the caliber of a 4-12 team.

However, this is a very dangerous question because we are playing really good football right now so I will not worry about the weaknesses. In the playoffs you have to go with your hand, and if you lose then there's really nothing you can do about it. You just have to play to your strengths and hope the weaknesses don't lose it in the end.

Another thing that may come up is how we've approached the past few games. The team psyche has been really good recently when they have taken the lead first (which up until New Orleans hadn't happen for a very long time).

I would like to hope that this team will play with the same fire and sense of urgency on offense if they do not score first because the defense has been superior all season long, but the offense has had it's lull's twice this season before snapping out of it.

Our road to the SB is going to be full of teams that will test our Defense. I feel very confident that no one in the NFC or AFC will blow us out. And with that in our pocket you can't help but feel good about your chances int he playoffs.

in past year's heading into the playoffs, our defense was a liability. I think just the simple fact that there are no glaring issues on that side of the ball, strengthens the few weaknesses on this team.

We have a chance to make some noise. Let's hope for the best.

Lots of crybabies...might see something. And the other fools, can just cry.

This Cowboy team seemed determined to to what they needed to do. They looked focused.

Actually looked sweet.

Bring it on.
