Dalvin Cook has started following a number of Cowboys journalists and influencers on Twitter, and his two most recent “likes” have been Cowboys related.

Looks like he may be interested in coming to Dallas.

Yay or nay?

Are the Cowboys taking his calls or does he have to leave a voicemail:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

You will be lucky to get 2 or 3 games out of him before something snaps.................hard pass.

Nick Eatman brought his name up the other day on Cowboys Storyline which I thought was slightly odd.

Something is 'cooking' here
Well if Jerry said to jump off a bridge do people have to do it!!?? Jerry please don't sign him!!! Bring back Rico instead lol

He was really bad last year. Before the season he had shoulder surgery but it seemed to be that he looked slower and lost all of his explosion so not injury related In any way. I don’t see how he gets that back unless there was another issue we don’t know about or maybe he was just out of shape and re-dedicates himself?

but, the negativity is getting a little out of control. you have to see the numbers when signing a guy. If it’s a vet minimum “prove it” deal why not? That doesn’t guarantee him a spot on the roster nor does it cost us any more than what any other backup (maybe even 3rd string) RB would If he makes the team. if nothing else we need camp bodies. Also, signing a guy like Cooks doesn’t impact us still looking for another back. Take it for what it is, but you have to see the $s before judging Because you can sign him and cut him in August if it’s little to no guaranteed money. Just because they sign him doesn’t mean they have big (or any) plans for him

Cook is a massive upgrade over Pollard even at this stage. Yes, had a poor season but he was used more as a backup with limited touches

He may be washed, BUT he was a 4.4 YPC guy in 22 and the Jets may have had the worst o-line in the nfl last year, combined with the least respected passing attack in the NFL did him no favors... So hard to tell what he has left IMO

I would have signed him before the playoffs last year. But the current boys aren't in that same position yet. Need fresher legs for now.

He's finished and will probably be in the ice bath 4-5 games into the season.

Perfect for a Jones' signing.

Hate to say it, but when a player is lobbying for Dallas to pick them up, that’s a warning sign now. LOL

I know the Jones Boys still think the mystique is there, but it’s not for the average NFL player, and with modern media, they can make the same amount of money anywhere else.
