Dalvin Tomlinson fined for sack on Dak Prescott

This matches the leagues recent rules toward protecting quarterbacks from injury, however at the time of the sack the play was not upheld and not called for unnecessary roughness. The league appears to believe it was a missed call with the fine to Tomlinson.

Of course there was no flag! Had a Cowboy done that, easy call for the refs.

I don't remember seeing a potential missed RTP call last week. It's hard to see in that video. Wonder if there's a better angle.

There's no room for " hate" in this league....it's written on the helmets and end zone grass

maybe if we got him blocked, he wouldn't be going through this right now!!

Maybe if I saw this from a different angle, I'd feel differently? But I don't see an issue with this tackle.
Originally thought it might have been a high hit with facemask contact. But it's got to be him landing on top of Dak with his full weight. Forgot about that rule.

I don't recall thinking there was a problem with this tackle when it happened. The angle on the posted video doesn't seem to show anything. The only thing I can see is Dak's head snaps back when he is hit. Does the league think the hit was too high? Did Tomlinson's helmet his the head of neck area? I can't tell but maybe the league has a better angle.

I am sorry that was just weak...it shouldn't have been (rightly not called) nor a fine.

I didn't see any issue with the tackle. Like everyone else, I hate him getting free and being in that position to hit our QB like that.
