Something tells me that the staff will make sure to keep him in tow.

It'll more than likely strictly be a case of the more DEs, the merrier.

If this team doesn't do all it can to create a pass rush, I'll be upset.

i like his highlights more than the other de we have.
his 10 yard time is 4.7 - no better if a little worse than taco.
but his play looks like a rde.
lets hope he grows up even though it is a bit hard to believe given his previous 4-5 teams...
at least there is talent so we can hope on the rest...
Significantly worse then Taco's when you factor in that he is 20+ pounds light. Unless he had an injury during the combine, Moore's mesurables are flat out bad. Add to that the attitude issues he has had, and I wouldn't hold my breath on him making the 53, much less the rotation.

Its weird really, Burfict had one of the worse combine's in recent history for a guy who was supposed to be a first rounder, still turned it into a solid NFL career.

Who knows about Moore, he does have pretty good bend and versatility which helps, but don't know if he's tightened the screws loose in his head yet. Course there are alot of pretty good pass rushers with a few screws loose in the head, so he wouldn't be alone in that. Don't know how he got drafted that high with those combine numbers though, we would've gone nuts here with that pick.

I think if he gets his head straight , he can be a decent rotation player. He could be a guy that maybe gets you 3 or 4 sacks in 500 snaps or so. I think he could about as good as a guy like Mincey, whom we all scoff at but was a decent DL.

I think he got drafted based on his college sack number:

Combine numbers are great and all, but actual production speaks louder.

12.5 sacks with 21 tackles for loss the season he entered the draft.

The guy is a proven Bonehead on likely his last chance in the league, at 24 years old. If he's realized that, and actually gets it, Dallas could actually have something.

Surprisingly, for all of the talk about Charlton and his arm length, Moore's arms are 1/2 an inch longer at an eye-opening 34 3/4"!

And I think that shows up on film with how well he's able to get away from blockers. Whatever his 40-time was at the combine, he plays fast on the field.

I think growing up and being a professional will be the make or break for him (barring injury of course).

I think his upside is higher than Mincey's ever was. To me, it's all about what goes on upstairs. If this kid's head ever gets right, we could have something. If it doesn't, this is likely his last stop out of the league.

Wait....this guy is no pass rusher. He can't be. His forty time is almost an entire tenth slower than Taco. I keep reading that Taco won't be a pass rusher because he's slow and big....a left DE. So if we have an even slower DE, who's also small, what will we do with him....move him to MLB just on goal line. Or try him at RT. No way a guy can rush the QB with that forty time.

Low risk, decent return.

Not like we were the team that spent a 3rd on him.
Still think he is on the outside looking in, but hey I enjoy seeing competition.

Moore gets a fresh start in Dallas close to his home town of Desoto. It falls to him to grow up and act like a professional or tank. I think he has the physical abilities but he has to go out and prove it. Very well could be his last chance to make a career in the NFL.

He also mentioned in the video that he grew up wanting to play for the Cowboys. Maybe that alone will give him the incentive that he needs to keep his head on straight and give that extra effort.

Hopefully, it's now or never for him I think.

actually it is 1.7 which was Taco's combine score for the 10. Taco's pro day time was about 1.63, but some say pro day time is usually faster. moore's agility scores a bit better.
whatever it is, his video looks like a rde. he moves like one.
he certainly has attitude issues.
