I think this will be one of my biggest concerns going into camp. I want to see if he is back to form. After having a career where you never had to worry about him, a longer FG became a big question mark at the end of the year.

That's a very good point and a legit cause for some concern. Reports have been good and he says he's all the way back, but the proof is in the pudding and it will be nice to get some reports confirming that.

This is a legit concern.

We need less Dak doom and gloom and more Bailey doom and gloom. He might very well be Dan VanderBailey.

We play in the easiest stadium to kick in. I will never have loyalty to a kicker.

Hopefully he returns to form. If not, hopefully the coaches and FO are willing to move on and not be entranced by past performance.

After his injury any fg became a question mark. It was Nick Folk all over again.

I'm sure he'll recover

For our team this is huge - just been taking these points for granted.

If he's healthy he'll be fine. Probably shouldn't have tried to come back last year but the Cowboys were still hoping to make the postseason.

Dan Bailey was terrible at the end of the 2017 season. "Back to Form" is music to my ears.

He gets the benefit of the doubt... he’s been too good too long in this league for me to be “worried”.

That said— if his accuracy is off and he is shanking kicks regularly, we need to make a change fairly quickly.

I'm confident that Dan will once again be money because he has the best snapper and holder in the league. The Rhythm of steps 1 and 2 are as automatic as breathing and then is mentally tough. I just don't see a problem going forward.

I’ve said it before, Bailey is the MVP for this team as far as I’m concerned. With every other position you can point to other teammates as part of the reason for success, not the FG kicker. This guy has been money time and time again, as someone stated earlier I think a lot fo fans have been taking these mostly automatic points for granted. Bailey will be very, very hard to replace and when we do you can count on losing at least a couple more games a season if we end up with an average FG kicker.

i hope hes fine. he's spoiled us all for years with those "mr automatic down the middle every damn time 46 yarders" in hostile conditions.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Going to give him the benefit of the doubt...just hope he does not get the yips like Nick did a few years ago.
