Switzer was here before new free agency rules severely eroded our talent advantage. All of those coaches you listed have taken their teams further than the Cowboys have been in the last 8 years, Tomlin and McCarthey repeatedly. The Eagles had one of the fastest rebuilds in NFL history. I would gladly take any of them over Garett.

Tomlin took ver a Steelers team that had recently won a sb and has a hof qb. He has three hof players at the skill positions and is doing little.

McCarthy has coached possibly the greatest qb in history and has done horrible with him, but because of a sb win, he’s great.... him, ok.

Not necessarily great, just better than what we have. In other words, competent.

Vanderjagt II. Groin injuries are bad news for a kicker. I'm not surprised he lost it.

The thing is, Bailey is young enough that he could retrain back to his groove. He's not done. Maybe next year.
