100%. Plus, if it was the Cowboys that screwed up that 2 point conversion play with the refs, I guarantee the narrative would be about how the player is responsible for making sure the ref knows he reported and the coaches have to make sure the player gets the play right with the refs, blah, blah, blah. The Lions are this year's beauty queens. So of course they had no fault in the way that play turned out. Dan Campbell's temper tantrum on the field proves it!Imagine if that was our coach continuing to go for two, even after the penalty on the first two point try. People would be losing their minds in a way that we’ve never see before.
Lions deserve to lose for those decisions.
Have you noticed how Lion's defenders are asking, why did Decker (68) go to the refs if not to report as eligible? But they ignore that 70 and 58 also went to the refs and claim they did not report? But the question is why did 58 and 70 go to the refs if they were not going to report as eligible? Videos of the three players near the refs do not tell us which one(s) reported as eligible. All 3 or none could have reported. What matter is the refs thought #70 reported and they announced it to both teams. The Lions made no attempt to correct the refs impression and they got burned. It is on them, as it would have been on the Cowboys had they made the same mistake.
