Which should make people feel better about Carter's role

I am certain that the Cowboys aren't ready to have Carter start next to Lee but feel comfortable that he can get more experience taking 3rd down snaps or in the nickel.

Robbed of an offseason and training camp has really hurt Carter's development. An ILB needs to be able to read his keys in a split second or else he's screwed so I think the coaches will try to bring Carter slowly along.

With Connor you get a young vet that can play in the trenches and doesn't have to take on a coverage role.

It pretty much says he wasn't a flashy guy but was pretty consistent. They even go as far as saying that he is better suited for a 3-4. The most interesting thing though is that he was a 2-down player there because he doesn't have coverage skills.

I don't know...looks like Connor and Rex Ryan have a lot in common
