Dan Quinn and Kellen Moore are one win from the NFCCG

I'm just glad this angle is being reported and talked about so Jerry can read it. Not that he cares, but I just want him to see everyone knows he's the problem.

Not a good judge

We've been 1 win away from the CG quite a bit.

Dan won't get there. Kellen might, but his team put up 22 at home with a stacked roster.

Brady yesterday made a very interesting comment during the Eagles game.

To start the day he mentioned that Moore was an excellent offensive coordinator in the league but later in the game his partner asked why Hurts only had 69 yards passing with all the weapons at his disposal, Brady then listed Phillys' offensive personnel and said this 'there is not enough detail in the passing game to execute at a high level and the best thing they've done all season is run the ball', his partner didn't follow up and they moved on.

I got the sense that Brady could have said more but was entering territory which might have been deemed too critical.

Brady btw is excellent on these broadcasts giving great insight that few color guys do. Stuff like a GB WR taking an inside release on a corner out in the end zone and how if it was him and he saw that release his eyes would immediately go elsewhere (Love made the pass and in was incomplete).

It's unfortunate that his ownership situation precludes him from really speaking his mind on these broadcasts i think it would be a refreshing change from a lot of the bland analysis we get.

Oh and Dan Quinn, the mastermind, almost blew that game yesterday by not kicking two gimme field goals. If not for the Mayfield fumble they likely lose that game.

yes they are, and kudos to them for their success this season.
But they still havent surpassed what they did in dallas until they get past the Div round.

Kellen has a chance to do that with the eagles, since they are a high seed.
Dan as a wc and low seed now have to face a rested detroit team, in Detroit !! good luck on that!

The turn around in Wash is obvious. They hit on a QB.
The turn around in Washington had much more to do with getting rid of their version of Jerry Jones. Team turned around immediately from 4-13 to winning a playoff game.

The same thing would happen for Dallas if we could get rid of Jones.
I think it's both.

Obviously, Washington came into the season with a lot of ammo to reload their roster. The difference is they spent it well. We've seen bottom feeders like the Browns and Jaguars do this half a dozen times... tank out, save up draft picks and cap dollars, then squander them. Heck, Dan Snyder did that a couple different times.

I watched that game. Mayfield and Daniels played better than Dak has in all but one of his playoff games. I would take both over Dak - no question. In fact, Dak is currently the 10th best QB in the conference... and falling.
185 yards and the game sealing fumble? sheesh

He took over a perennial loser that went 4-13 last year.
that got rid of their toxic owner, added a cost controlled stud qb, and landed some considerable pieces in FA. there's nothing about the team that is the same

Good observation. I think the not having a ton of detail in the passing game is an accurate way of putting it by Brady. I think their offense doesnt have as much detail to it because the detail is all presnap. They live off the run game and their passes are more about making quick reads rather than having deeper developing plays or a ton of route concepts. Everything with Philly seems to either be a pre snap or immediate read and if that isnt there its take off and run or turn it into backyard football. Its how several teams are running offenses these days and its a bit of a hybrid pro/college style. Its almost like an updated modern version of the WCO with just a few timing based reads in the pass game.

Jalen Hurts has also never been that kind of passer who makes three reads and throws with great anticipation. That's just not his game. I think KM is working to his players' strengths.

In Dallas, Moore caught crap for calling a ton of option routes, because it created some ugly picks when Dak and his WRs weren't on the same page. So KM has shown that he's got more complicated passing concepts in his bag, but I think he realizes that they won't be as effective in Philly as an RPO.

Completely agree. KM is capable of doing a lot of different thing, but Philly is best set up to run exactly as they are with a lot of RPOs and quick route concepts. In Dallas almost everything was vertical with route options that played off that. KM has shown he can be adaptable for sure.

Let's not forget, we can still find meaning in these playoffs. If Washington advances to the NFCCG, that leaves our beloved Cowboys in first place for the NFC's longest absence. Our 29 years will tower over the second place Bears with 14. Silver lining, folks.

For divisional rivalry teams......let that sink in
*Quinn's first year as the Commander's head coach ( rookie QB )
* Kellen's first year as the Eagles OC ( RB with over 2000 yards rushing )
* Cowboys are struggling to reach 500 ( with the highest-paid player/QB in the league)

The point is ........Quinn and Kellen were never the problems

We already knew that Jerry is the problem so nothing will change as long as he in charge...

I read Eagles trying to make their 9th championship game the last 25 years. But Jerry’s convenient philosophy on team building clearly the right way to build a team.

Wouldn't that be irony. The stupid thing is that if Jerry has just spoken to MM about his contract extension after the playoff loss, he could have come to the same decision he made today and we could have kept Quinn.

Jerry sits at his office desk wondering, how could this be? It's you Jerry, not them.

I know this is heresay but the rivalry pretty much died with the name change anyway...I want Dan Quinn and Was to win the SB. I want Jerry's humiliation to be complete.

That Tampa team should have been thumped last night and Quinn barely squeaked by them.
If you look at time of possession, the Commanders didn’t just squeak by. They never punted and controlled the clock with is saying a whole lot when you don’t have a running game or a defense which scares anyone. The Commanders simply did what they consistently do every week. In most of their losses, it’s been by a missed extra point or field goal. Thier game plan is to stay in games and be the last person holding the ball
