He is okay but not the guru/mastermind that some people think. He was just lucky to be part of Pete Carroll's staff when the Legion of Boom was created and a lot of those assistants are living off that reputation still (similar to a lot Jimmy's defensive assistants who were part of the 90s Cowboys)

I think this post is a tad strong. Quinn is not Buddy Ryan. He was a bad head coach. That said he is a quality DC. Great…no. Good though. He has a lot of talent to play with here and the defense has been very good this year. Truth is the whole team sleep walked today.

Cowboys as a team were outcoached and outplayed by Texans for most of game.

But its the fat guy who decided to take it easy in practices who deserves more of the blame.

Defense on goal line and surprisingly more effective Dak Prescott in 2 minute drill actually was reason for victory.

There were many 3rd & longs in Texans territory where our D could not force a punt. The Texans kept driving down the field, possession after possession.

The drive for their first TD started at our 25. The drive for their second started just outside of our 25. Dak did his best to try to throw the game away inside our own 10 and we're just fortunate that Dan Quinn's D kept them out of the endzone.

Players play. 11 was on the sidelines a lot. 90 was on the sideline a lot.

Not sure what was going on with them. I was at the game and saw parsons try to run on the field and was called back.

The defense is top 10, that’s nothing to scoff at. So Mills had a decent game; if Dak doesn’t throw multiple interceptions, Dallas wins by double digits. Dallas D didn’t get exposed, didn’t get run over. Houston had a decent game plan and they got 23 pts out of it. The D was fine
