He was called out many times in here as the season progressed. Especially the last month or so.
He was called out after the beatdowns we took to AZ, SF and Buffalo but a majority of the fans were still on board with him. The past couple of weeks we’ve seen multiple threads worrying about losing him to a head coaching job. We’re not seeing that now. Most fans are hoping he’ll leave or get fired. Lol

If a new HC is hired, which I will believe when I see, that coach will absolutely be accepting nearly every assistant under contract.

That’s the Jerry way. He has never not done that.

As far as Quinn, he needs to get out of here as fast as he can, maybe even if his only offer is Washington.

He would be a much smarter coach with the proper personnel, but DTs and off ball LBs don’t sell jerseys.

What a mess and one of Jerry's own making. The market for Quinn has effectively gone, certainly as a HC. But it won't be easy to remove him. He is under contract. The next head coach will presumably want his own DC. There was always too much chatter (Jerry encouraged it) that we had our next HC in waiting and were paying him as such.

We need a new HC (certainly not Quinn) with his own staff.
Jerry is the biggest problem followed by Dak because of his albatross contract

LOL

I just can’t anymore………
Everyone else’s fault. Don’t dare blame that one guy. This is when you know they’re not real Cowboys fans they’re Dak fans turned Cowboys fans. So maybe they’ll depart when he departs.

How fast everyone has turned against Quinn. It was a DQ lovefest going on 3 seasons until yesterday’s debacle. Some wanted him as the head coach.

A bunch of us have been calling Quinn out for a couple of years and hoping he’d take a job. That performance was pathetic. There isn’t a word for what he put out there yesterday. I’m amazed he’s still getting hit up for interviews. Oof

Mike McCarthy is solid and should be kept. We don't have a head coach problem. We have a D-Coordinator and defensive scheme problem.
The offense was completely inept against a mediocre defense.

They gave up as many points on offense as they scored in the first half lol

Quinn already has interviews lined up so doesn't mean he won't get a gig. He still took an awful Cowboys D and turned them into a top 5 unit the last couple regular seasons. He and the defense had a bad day yesterday and there's probably more questions on what went wrong but if you already like the guy his overall body of work and trust his analysis on how to make it better you may still hire him.

However, if it were my decision thinking back to the blown Super Bowl, and the Falcons defenses on top of the performance yesterday I don't know that I would. I could also be a salty fan for the awful performance yesterday. Maybe he spent too much time prepping for his next gig?

Some fans have called him out but the majority have anointed him as something special after the debacle with Mike Nolan.

True, I honestly see no difference between him and Nolan outside of more turnovers. Both defenses were an embarrassment. His scheme is rigid, and he relies on smaller players who get bullied by other teams. I can’t stand DQ.

There’s been a big difference. With Nolan we were terrible every week. We had an historically bad defense. Yesterday was the fourth game where our defense was an embarrassment this season but we ranked 6th in total defense this season. That was a huge improvement over Nolan.

Let me clarify what we saw yesterday was no better than what Nolan trotted out there for an entire year.

Look at Dan Quinn's defense this year in games against the 49ers, Seahawks, Bills, and Packers. To a lesser degree Miami and Detroit.

The best offenses make a mockery of his weird schemes. Cutback runs are there all game long and yesterday they even forgot to cover people. Quinn is a fraud.

Oh you forgot. The HC needs his own QB too not one cherry picked by JJ

Outside of the obvious that the Boys biggest problem is JJ...

DQ was the DC when the Falcons had the epic meltdown in the SB
on a smaller stage of course but pretty much the same thing except this one started on the opening drive

Don't think yesterday hurt Quinn's chances from getting a HC position. Sure, it doesn't look good, but they look at his body of work. Still believe he is a lock for the Seahawks job!

I copied this from something I read earlier:

Dan Quinn's offensive coaches in 2016 when the Falcons went to the Super Bowl...

Kyle Shanahan
Matt LaFleur
Mike McDaniel

Quinn is 0-6 against those guys including a playoff loss in each of the last three seasons.

I can see MM getting fired in next 24-48 hours and DQ in a holding pattern. Cowboys want him to leave but don't want to fire him
and he's already got four interviews set up and likely he is leaving I think after the backlash and I think he it's run its course here for Dan Quinn so I hope he makes his decision quick... We don't need to be in a holding pattern but as much as the Cowboys don't wanna fire him and they wanna do right by him they ought to tell him to quit behind closed doors and say it was mutual and that he's moving on to bigger and better pastures because he's gonna hold us up of getting one of the top names out there..
