Don't think yesterday hurt Quinn's chances from getting a HC position. Sure, it doesn't look good, but they look at his body of work. Still believe he is a lock for the Seahawks job!
Well let's hope he leave that interview with the contract and sends the moving company to Dallas to pick this stuff up and that'll make it much easier for Jerry Jones to make decision to cut Mike McCarthy move on and go get one of the bigger names that are still available in a hurry

It’s really not a problem. No salary cap on coaches. Jerry can just fire them if he wants.

He’s so damn rich that he can afford it.

Q is most likely headed to Seattle. Had his best years under Carroll and it looks like Pete is headed towards a front office gig. Makes too much sense.

The whole team stunk, not just the defense. The cowboys got dominated by a team a touch about .500. That's on McCarthy. McCarthy is not the OC. He's the HC and the whole team came out and looked unprepared.

He was called out many times in here as the season progressed. Especially the last month or so.
Thank you !! I've been calling Quinn out on formations and the no linebacker look since the Seattle game. The defense is/was susceptible to patient offenses who pound the rock and max protect. Getting the ball out quick made our pass rush invisible and exposed our secondary. We need a new DC and at least 5 new defenders.

He didn't have the team prepared at all. I wouldn't keep him.
Jimmy Johnson went the extra mile to ensure he covered all his bases. He had his teams ready in the sb's and playoffs. No surpises from the opposing teams playing differently in the game. MM failed at his preperation of his entire team in my opinion a cardinal sin for a hc.

The way he gutted out the LB core and tarnish Mazi requires answers. Those two decisions screw up a promising year.

Most certainly. To win in the NFL you have to be able to run the ball and stop the run. Offense couldn’t run and the defense couldn’t stop the run. Can’t go far with that formula.

Didn't Quinns defense choke away a big lead in the SB and Kyle Shanahan took the blame for continually throwing the football when they were up big.
Both can be true. ATL was in FG range to make it a two-score lead with 2 minutes left. Shanahan called a pass, sacked, out of FG range, punt.

The rest is history.

well I think that Jerry just needs to get ahead of it behind closed doors all due respect type conversation and tell him we appreciate the effort you've done some good things for Dallas but have fun on your new job and just flat out go ahead and part ways now the Eagles lost you know that their GM is quicker on the draw and they could end up taking the better options before us so we need to make this happen now if that's even in Jerry's mind it needs to happen now...

I think he is waiting for Quinn to be offered something. My guess is he won't. Still think the following is in play:

1) DQ retained as Cowboys DC
2) MM Fired and DQ promoted to HC
3) DQ offered HC by Seahawks
4) DQ offered DC at other team and Jerry allows lateral move.
5) Jerry fires him and he gets DC position at other team in the near future.

Dude #1 and #2 are completely unacceptable it's ridiculous to even fathom a man whose group literally have lost us so many games this year gets promoted he's never been a good head coach he failed in Atlanta and I don't care who's offering him jobs I don't want him as the head coach here and I said this last year and I said it all year before this last loss...

Totally agree, but don't rule anything out with Jerry

I agree, but Dallas just does business differently. Still think they are mulling to keep MM.

Seem like Dan threw the game. Should do audit of his friends and family betting.

Jerry is going to drag his feet and than come out and say there were no coaches left that we felt we wanted to hire so everything will stay the same. That dummy should be begging Belichick!
