I live in DC. Its all they are talking about. However, this was the third choice for the Commanders head coach. The others either didn't get enough money or a long enough deal. DC being DC.

Quinn leaving will be celebrated by the fanbase (dak stans) but he was far from the problem here

He may not have been the biggest problem but he was definitely not a solution when it came to playing against quality teams. His defense was a routine embarrassment in big games .

Apparently Wash, as well as other HC seeking teams did not feel too anxious about Vrabel.
He may end up taking on a DC role or wait it out til next year's HC crop need.

Seriously though, as bad as it ended, the guy made our defense relevant again so I can't rag on that and am grateful for that reason. Just needed something extra that he couldn't quite muster in his time here.

I really hate how he's been villified after the turnaround he oversaw. yeah there were warts, and disappointment, but I'll miss him and hate him going to a division rival.
