Heard on 105.3 The Fan this morning that Dan Quinn would absolutely love to head back to Seattle as a HC if Carroll is let go. I truly hope this dosent happen. Yes talent is a part of the defensive turn around but Dan Quinn is a huge factor as well.

Pete Carroll will be the Head Coach in Seattle next season.

He has made no indication he wants to stop coaching and Seattle won't fire him.

Can someone remind me what George Edward’s job is? Isn’t he some sort of defensive guru? Why wouldn’t he be the defensive coordinator? I keep forgetting that he’s on our staff. There is no doubt that DQ is making a difference with our football team. Perhaps some of that is due to the support he has though.

todd bowles didn't leave for HC job and they won a sb and his defense was actually dominant in the playoffs and embarrassed Mahomes and reid..

lets see what DQ does in the playoffs and BW sayig this is all DQ our core of the defnse that finally got back on the field was already here.

yes, DQ is doing a bang-up job but he'd be smart to stay 2 years and really make true name for himself.15 games does not establish a full picture IMO

the playoffs will be truly the final chapter and the true barometer of our defense when you have to see the best teams every week, then we can truly judge this team.

Talent first and foremost is the key and Moore and Quinn if they leave cant take the core talent and im sure their replacements will be giddy to have these players to coach,

BTW why hire outside the team, Zimmers cool with me BUT why not Edwards? he was seen as the 2nd option maybe some thought he should be the DC from the jump. Seems natural you promote Edwards keep the consistency in the defensive rooms.

There's no salary cap for coaches, this is where Jerry can be a difference maker. Pay the man to be a long-term D Coordinator and pay him head coach money.
