Dan Skipper isn't bad

Watched him in college. He can play in this league. Will take a little patience. Needs more polish. Not sure he make the 53 but definately the PS. Just hope no team steals him.
Hoping they don't try to get cute again. Too many eyes on Texas.

I'm starting to like Dan more and more. He's got a mean streak. Figures....Oline is an embarrassment of riches.
And the dline is an embarrassment.

My guess is the root of all the scuffles is a lack of respect for the clowns on that side of the ball. Oline is ready to win trophies, they're sick of the dline group not holding up their end.

I think he just doesn't like to get beaten. A lot of skill lies between the ears in WILL. You WILL not beat me goes a long way.

HIs feet will be one to watch. If he shows some agility in the preseason, then he might be gone if we cut him.

If he can move his feet, he will be hard to get rid of, but I see PS for now for us at least.

Rue the day....BTW his feet did get Austin Allen killed alot, so don't go overboard.

I watched a lot of him in college too, and I'm sure, like me, you're not surprised by the scuffles. He was known as a borderline dirty player in college. He's a classic block-through-the-whistle kind of guy.

Also, "Bert" Bielema has overseen some good o-linemen in his time, including Fredbeard.

That's my thinking too. I think the team would love to put him and Theaker on the practice squad for a year of seasoning. My worry is that, given the quality of Dallas' line, teams will be watching all of their linemen very closely, making it difficult to get players through waivers.

It's nice to finally have some decent overall depth on online to the point that we are now worried about losing a guy due to numbers.

At one time we had a bunch of guys who were past their prime but getting paid like they were in their primes on oline.

Wish we could get that kind of quality on Defensive line where we are having multiple pro bowlers on D line and might have to let an good up and coming guy go due to the riches of the position.
Maybe that day will come in a year or two.
