This is my one and final crack at the mock. This is what I believe WILL happen, not what I want to happen. I am basing this on needs, and rumored interest.

1st Rd - Kony Ealy DE
Analysis: I believe Martin, Barr and Donald will all be gone by the 16th pick. This will create panic in war room at an attempt to trade down. They will be unsuccessful in doing so, and will end up picking their best player on the board. With Ealy, they have their starting RDE but have the flexibility to move him inside in passing situations.

2nd Rd - (Trade down pick up extra 4th) - Daquan Jones
Analysis: Would be a true 1 tech in this scheme. Can penetrate and be disruptive in all facets of the game.

3rd Rd - Trai Turner G

Analysis: Huge upside player. Would be an immediate starter, but can be coached up to be the best guard in this draft. Only 20 years old. Extremely stout and physical at the point.

4th Rd - Josh Huff WR

Analysis: Explosive playmaker that can take top off the defense. Makes a ton of acrobatic catches, but his hands are sometimes suspect. Not an impediment to Terrance Williams growth, and the two can battle it out for the starting spot.

4th Rd - Jerick McKinnon RB

Analysis: Excellent athlete that has true starter ability.

5th Rd - Ken Bishop DT

Analysis: Small school player but with great explosiveness. Excellent 3 technique candidate. Can find a spot in rotation as a rookie.

6th Rd (Trade up for the three 7th rounders) - Howard Jones OLB

Analysis: Played defensive end in college, but projects as a weak side linebacker in the nfl. Has a ton of athletic ability.

7th Rd - Davon Coleman DT/DE

Analysis: Hybrid player that can play either the strong side DE or the 3 technique. Has the ability to grow even more. Huge ceiling. Had 8 sacks his final season at Arizona State

7th Rd - Brandon Dixon CB

Analysis: Nice athleticism. Can compete with BW Webb for spot on roster.

7th Rd - Garrett Gilbert QB

Analysis: Rumored interest. Looked excellent in workouts. Can he compete with Weeden for backup spot?

What are everybody's thoughts? Realistic?

Other than Trai Turner that would be one dismal draft class. Ealy is a borderline 1st prospect, prefer Crichton or Lawrence over him. Jones is not a 2nd round prospect at all, 1 techs are a dime a dozen in this draft.

Bad draft. I like everything past the first 2 rounds but the first 2 rounds are bad enough to ruin it for me.

Well it's definitely not a sexy draft but there are some really nice prospects here that would help the rebuilding process. Ealy and Jones would probably be good starters at SDE and 1 tech for a long time with Turner being a starting guard next to Fred for a long time as well. With Bishop fitting in as a good rotation DT as well.

Huff and McKinnon are good versatile weapons for the offense as well.

Obviously I would like it if we traded back and still got Ealy a ton more but it's not as bad as everyone is going to make it out to be. Definitely very realistic

That looks like a pretty unimpressive draft to me. Not going to engender a lot of enthusiasm here. Just going by various 'top 100' lists, there'd seem to be better folks available at those draft spots.

On the other hand, I have looked at zippo denada film, so what do I know....

Good draft and very realistic than most the stuff I see on here.

Good work, though there a lot of guys I would take instead of Ealy. I would also keep the three 7th rounders instead of trading up, I'd much rather take 3 late chances than one slightly better chance.

Also this may be herecy but I don't think we will be forced to take a DE in the first two rounds. If the chips don't fall our way, we could start Crawford and Selvie at DE with Spencer and Mincey backing up. Add a 3rd or 4th round pick to that (where there is still a lot of value in this draft) and maybe one of veteran FA's still out there and you wouldn't have an optimal solution, but probably enough guys that it could be a stopgap until we load up next year.

Also I think we spend the 5MM from cutting Miles Austin partially on bring back Waters to play OG, but in a similar way to his role last year - we could spend some of that money on a DE to serve as a rotational guy for one year.

Spencer can't even run right now and his return is 50/50 at best so I don't let his cheap re-signing keep me from upgrading the front 7. In this draft if we don't take a DE in the first 2 rounds we won't be selecting anyone later who will contribute because of the talent drop off.

Would rather have Jernigan in the first even if they think it is too high. I don't want the Haha or Pryor in the first but the think I would rather have one of those over Early at 16.

I do like D. Jones a great deal although maybe more in the third if we could get him there.

I like the OG Turner. I like Huff.

I also like the RB and Bishop at DT

Do NOT like Gilbert. I don't like what I call eternal teases at QB where coaches love their measurements and or arms but they never really do much... Same as I feel about Logan Thomas.

OP gets an A for effort, but that would be one dismal draft. Not really liking most of those picks.

Agree on the first point, disagree on the 2nd. There are plenty of players in the 3rd and 4th rounds that could be part of a rotation. I don't think anyone available at 16 would start for us at DE (Donald could at DT obviously), even Barr. Any DE we draft next week is going to be a backup for the 2014 season, the difference is a guy like Barr has more upside for the future.

And I wasn't saving we don't have to upgrade at DE, I'm saying that we aren't in a position where we HAVE to draft a DE in the first two rounds. I'm not even counting on Spencer starting or even being on the roster to start the season, I think he will be a backup for the last 3/4th of the season and hopefully have regained his starting job late in the season. I think even if we draft Barr he will rotate in on passing downs with Crawford and Selvie starting. I just don't want to reach on the position.

A rotation on the DL is great if you have at least one difference maker.

Otherwise you have a collection of not very special players. I do not think Melton is enough. Just one edge threat would make an impact.

If we add nothing and think Mincey, Selvie and whomever can get the job done, well, that is just insane.

If you were looking for realism, you probably did pretty well.

If this were our draft as an entirety, I would be fairly underwhelmed.

I agree this is not far fetched for this team as they do not draft well.

Again, i think many people are overthinking this. We are NOT going to fix everything this year. We have too many years and too many holes to overcome in one year unless everything fell our way. Lets just take players we know that will push us in the right direction and keep marching on. Get the best players we can this year and then with next years draft, hopefully, we can finally get that superbowl before Tony and Witten retire.

Titans are going CB. That was Barr's realistic chance to go before Dallas. Barr will be a Cowboy, book it
