Yep I agree at the beginning of this whole process he was mocked as high as 5 or 6. As the process has drawn out and free agency played it's hand, it's his scheme fit that has brought his stock down not his ability.

No one is getting the point of this draft. If I were the GM, it wouldn't be MY draft.

But rather what I think will happen so we have more realistic expectations then what everyone seems to have every year

This is my one and final crack at the mock. This is what I believe WILL happen, not what I want to happen. I am basing this on needs, and rumored interest.

1st Rd - Kony Ealy DE
Analysis: I believe Martin, Barr and Donald will all be gone by the 16th pick. This will create panic in war room at an attempt to trade down. They will be unsuccessful in doing so, and will end up picking their best player on the board. With Ealy, they have their starting RDE but have the flexibility to move him inside in passing situations.

2nd Rd - (Trade down pick up extra 4th) - Daquan Jones
Analysis: Would be a true 1 tech in this scheme. Can penetrate and be disruptive in all facets of the game.
3rd Rd - Trai Turner G
Analysis: Huge upside player. Would be an immediate starter, but can be coached up to be the best guard in this draft. Only 20 years old. Extremely stout and physical at the point.
4th Rd - Josh Huff WR
Analysis: Explosive playmaker that can take top off the defense. Makes a ton of acrobatic catches, but his hands are sometimes suspect. Not an impediment to Terrance Williams growth, and the two can battle it out for the starting spot.
4th Rd - Jerick McKinnon RB
Analysis: Excellent athlete that has true starter ability.
5th Rd - Ken Bishop DT
Analysis: Small school player but with great explosiveness. Excellent 3 technique candidate. Can find a spot in rotation as a rookie.
6th Rd (Trade up for the three 7th rounders) - Howard Jones OLB
Analysis: Played defensive end in college, but projects as a weak side linebacker in the nfl. Has a ton of athletic ability.
7th Rd - Davon Coleman DT/DE
Analysis: Hybrid player that can play either the strong side DE or the 3 technique. Has the ability to grow even more. Huge ceiling. Had 8 sacks his final season at Arizona State
7th Rd - Brandon Dixon CB
Analysis: Nice athleticism. Can compete with BW Webb for spot on roster.
7th Rd - Garrett Gilbert QB
Analysis: Rumored interest. Looked excellent in workouts. Can he compete with Weeden for backup spot?

What are everybody's thoughts? Realistic?

I think it is very realistic just not what I was hoping for, the Huff pick I would of substituted Norwood WR Alabama. I think you get three starters out of that lineup and RB could be a homerun.

Yea, most of the major mocks you see out have them taking cornerback to replace Verner that left as a free agent.

Looking at the teams between the Titans at 11 and us at 16, I don't think Barr gets drafted by them. So if Barr does get past Tennessee and nobody leap frogs us, I think our chances are good of getting Barr.

He will be our starting RDE.

I have excepted that if Zach Martin is our first pick that's OK.
Daquan Jones in the second isn't going to happen i hope.Third OK.
But how do I know I don't I read some mocks and attach to favorites.
