Elliott will not go in the Top 10.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he did. As far as pure talent goes, there aren't five players in this draft more talented than he is. When you have a draft like this, the whole value scale gets thrown out the window.

Besides, this isn't a mock, it's just a list of who the 50 most talented players are.

Dane Brugler posted his updated Draft Board today. These things will change a lot after the showcase games and then change again in the final weeks leading up to the draft - but reading this scenario I would still trade down and look for either Elliot or Treadwell to fall to your acquired pick around 8 or 10.

Ramsey ahead of Bosa, Elliott and Treadwell is a joke. Are we talking talent, or athletic ability? Because he certainly isn't more talented than those players. He's not even the most talented DB.

I hope he only has Jaylon Smith that low due to his injury. Smith can play any LB position in any scheme and is a tackling machine. I can understand people who think Jack has more upside, but I would argue Smith is a more talented LB right now.

Half of those second rounders will go mid-late first. Billings and Nkemdiche could both go top 15.

I know. That's why I listed 7 of them. I'd be happy if any of them are still there at 34. I suppose at least one will be.

It's so tough to say right now who I would want in the second. I think the second round is that time where you say, "what did we fail to address in free agency?" You wouldn't like Spence in the second? What if they added a true, pocket pushing DT in free agency?

As outlandish as it even sounds to me, I wonder if he will be available at 34 or acquirable with a short trade up from 34.

That would be too good to be true lol. If we could get the bpa at #4 and then Lynch at #34 I would be pretty ecstatic!

Elliott will not go in the Top 10.

That's not what he is suggesting.
He is merely ranking players based on their talent level.

He would mock guys with the obvious postional biases and he'll have two QBs inside top 5 for sure.

I wouldn't touch Elliot until 15 but I do believe he is possibly the best best raw talent in this draft class.
But I wouldn't draft a RB that high anymore than I would a kicker.

talent is a combination of sport IQ, athletic ability and skill.
different evaluators lean to different equations which is why boards are all over the place given the exact same data.
ramsay may well have the highest ceiling in this draft. he's long and physical with an incredible belief in self.

but he is no where near the technician hargreaves is which makes sense given hargreaves access to better coaching his entire life.

I guess crazier things have happened but I agree that it would probably be too good to be true. That said, I would definitely take BPA and 4 and Lynch at 34-ish.

I'd like Spence over some of the 7 DTs I listed. Not sure if I'd choose Spence if Billings or Nkemdiche was still on the board. Just not sure what we're gonna do with DE. We should roll with Gregory/Lawrence and add some solid depth behind them. I don't know what would happen if we had a trio of young 1st/2nd round DEs fighting for two spots. And I don't trust Marinelli enough to get creative like Broncos with Von Miller (when they were still in the 4-3).

I'm reading Nkemdiche has a ton of baggage and hangs with a bad crowd. On the field the scouts rip him for not finishing plays. I think he falls a ways.
