As someone who has seen Danica come up through the ranks first hand I can tell you why she is over rated. Danica has never had to suffer with inferior equipment like most racers do. From the time she left karting she was always with the best teams and the best of equipment. Despiet that though she never won a race since she left karting until she was gifted a win in Motegi. I can honestly say I have never seen a driver to less with more then Danica has done. Not to mention the way her and her management team have carried themselves the last few years. She will not be missed at all in the paddock. This has nothing to do with her gender. There is in fact a few female racers in IndyCar that are very talented and carry themselves without the diva attitude that Danica has thrown around for sometime now. Micheal Waltrip proved a long time ago that you don't need to win races to be successful in NASCAR.

So if she tries to pick a fight with another driver can they knock her teeth down her throat or do they just have to take it because she's a woman? That stupid stunt she pulled after a wreck walking down pit road towards another driver's pit so the whole world could see her knowing she wouldn't have to back anything up was just pathetic.

So she should never confront another drive? Just get hit on the track and say nothing? I don't think so.

There will no doubt be confrontations but I doubt very seriously anyone, unless it's another female, will hit her and risk the bad publicity. However they won't take any diva crap from her either.

Funny most of the guys like her and have spoken highly of her and how she is progressing. There will always be confrontation out on the track as for Diva? Are you kidding me most of the other drivers are nothing but Diva themselves.

Do you find, with your first hand knowledge, that drivers with low talent level always end up on "the best teams with the best equipment"?

True lol

I remember Jimmy Johnson saying she'd have an unfair advantage because of her size. Ugh Jimmy there is a weight limit for all the cars. :laugh2:

Mario Andretti was the greatest race driver I ever saw. Won everything worth winning in all motor sports.

Yet he had horrendous luck at Indy. Should have won it about 3 times instead of just once.

Patrick with a little better luck could have won a Indy 500 by now. so those screaming about luck wins are just idiots.

Michael had the Indy 500 won and ran out of gas.

Check me on this, but I think that was Robby Gordon, not JJ.

I liked Mario but AJ Foyt is still the man in my eyes

Foyt drove in the Indianapolis 500 for 35 consecutive years, winning it four times (the first of only three to do so).

Foyt is the only driver to win the Indy 500 in both front and rear-engined cars, winning twice with both configurations.

Foyt is the only driver to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Indianapolis 500 the same year (1967).

He is the only person to record victories in the Indianapolis 500, the Daytona 500 stock car race, the 24 Hours of Daytona (twice, with co-driver Bob Wollek), the 24 Hours of Le Mans international sports car endurance race in Le Mans, France, as well as the 12 Hours of Sebring (his last major professional win, in 1985, with co-driver Bob Wollek).

Foyt had never competed in European sports-car racing or driven at LeMans prior to his 1967 winning performance in a Ford Mk. IV co-driven by Dan Gurney. He reportedly only got 10 laps of pre-race practice on the fast, intimidating tree-lined course. While being sprayed with Champagne on the victory podium, he is reported to have asked "Do I win Rookie Of The Year?"

He also has 41 USAC Stock Car wins and 50 Sprint Car, Midget, and Dirt Champ Car wins.

He has won 12 total major driving championships in various categories.
His USAC wins tally is a record 138 (The late Rich Vogler is second with 132.)

Foyt won the 1976 and 1977 IROC championships.

Foyt won 7 NASCAR races, including the 1972 Daytona 500.

Foyt holds the closed course speed record driving the Oldsmobile Aerotech at an average speed of over 250 mph (400 km/h).

Despite having won more USAC sanctioned events than any other driver Foyt never won a CART sanctioned event.

Man I used to love CART...I hate Tony George.

As far as Danica...if that girl didn't have looks, nobody would give a damn about her...she's done basically nothing.
