Danny Shelton traded? Could have been our 1T for cheap

Shelton is just OK, though might be a massive upgrade over what we trot out in the middle.

Yes, I am afraid Vea is way too much like Shelton. And if your NT is just a plugger and nothing more, he's not worth a 1-3 round pick.

Someone like Suh is perfect for our DT

I remember some fans pining away for Shelton the year he came out; the year prior it was Alameda Tamu.

Again... everyone else continues to get better while we sit around scratching our *****.

LOL, I'm not sure that Danny Shelton is the missing piece to the Superbowl, but the sitting on our hands in general is frustrating

I do agree. But we as fans need something to have hope.

We may not trade for a Deion Sanders or Jerry Rice, but to know we will only fix the team during the draft is frustrating

in order to make trades like this and improve your team that way you have to know what you are doing pretty much tells you all u need to know about the cowboys front office

Gads, people just have no idea who a player like Suh transforms your D. Hey, I doubt if I'd like him personally either. However, he scares the other team. And that's something we're desperately missing.
Haley had the same M.O. back in the day before he joined us as well.

Irrelevant to belichick. If Shelton keeps OL off of Donte Hightower and he has a great season then it's an upgrade for the Pats. If he commands a true double team( and I don't watch Cleveland to know if he does) then stats don't mean anything.. ..

Doesn't change the fact that people were proclaiming the trade a good one without knowing what the compensation even was.

Yes, if the first round bust plays great, it'll be a win for Belichick.

IDK about bust..... CLE had a top 10 rated RunD last year and Shelton was Top20 Interior Run DL last year by PFF

I don't know, either, but he's a 2015 #12 pick overall who was traded for a song.

For the record though, PFF ratings don't mean anything one way or another as far as I'm concerned.
