If this guy can do what he did on film (reliably catch the ball and run to daylight) in TC/Pre-season, then get rid of Dunbar already. Use Jackson on special teams and move him to RB3 if McFadden/Morris get injured. With Zeke being a great 3rd down back, it limits Morris's and Dunbar's usage, already. But Morris is more valuable because he can close out games for us in garbage time without having Zeke take unnecessary wear.

We made sure CMichael was a bust. He did just fine for SEA during their playoff run. JGarrett just didn't like him, it happens all the time in sports.

DMC is a dime a dozen vet RB.....he knows the passing game so that helps but he is nothing special

He's a bust, they still don't want him. They just picked up two rbs themselves.

I think he's going to have to be a standout on special teams to not end up on the practice squad. With runnings backs, it's not just about running ability, it's about trust. They aren't putting Romo in his hands anytime soon.

There are two things that impress me about Zeke, and neither of them was revealed at the combine. 1) His vision is so special, he makes it look easy. 2) From a young age, he dedicated himself to becoming a standout blocker because he noticed none of the other backs wanted to do it.

Any chance zeke is week one kickoff return man?

I think there is a real possibility of McFadden being traded. Maybe for a sixth they can spend on a TE that once caught a football in his childhood.

Why would anyone trade for him? Before last year no one except for us wanted him. Now there have been two drafts worth of running backs taken. You think he has value now because he got to run behind the best offensive line in football and was still very mediocre?

Kind of kidding, but what if there's not much difference between Darius Jackson and Zeke. lol;

Don't see it happening, but I do think Jackson could end up making this (or someone else's) team.

4.35 forty
41" vertical

That's a speciman[/quote We know he is qualified for track team. But can he play football?

We know he is qualified to run track. But can he play football? Pick up a blitz. Have the vision to hit the right hole. Block. Catch.

Did not see lots of football talent, yes he is fast but no one touches him and when they do he is nothing special in the balance and vision part of the game.

Great point. And he is on his last year of contract.

His balance looks pretty good to me. He is really hard to bring down. He also smashes into DBs and punishes them pretty hard. He has a really good run vs LSU where he grinds tough yards.

He is a small school project, hopefully he can get good coaching to shore up the rest of his game. He seemed intelligent and a RKG based on a couple of interviews and doesn't look like a Christine Michael type or WKG, so I think he has a pretty decent shot here.

Jackson has to be all world in rookie mini camp for McFadden to be traded before the season even starts. Jackson will be on the practice squad. If he's as good as people are making him out to be.

That is true. Johnson has more balance. I don't know if you can develop that but I'm just gonna hope Darius can.

plus he can really catch the ball just like DAvid johnson, the guy i would get rid of is Dunbar.

Dunbar's injury may prevent him from even playing this year. I have never been a big fan and I think an upgrade is needed.

Injuries happen and teams get in a bind. I'm sure some Seattle fans said why would anyone trade for Michael last year.

I think if Zeke takes off Mcfadden is more likely to be moved near the deadline.

Why McFadden, because he doesn't play special teams I'm guessing. Neither does Morris, so why won't he be traded?

They just signed him. Can't imagine they'd flip him straight away.
