Dark Jerseys Question

A couple of years ago USC and UCLA agreed to play with both teams wearing their dark jerseys and no one wearing white jerseys. I think it pulled off a really nice look for the fans. Here's a glimpse of how it looks.



Would you like to see some NFL games do this if their primary colors are not similar?

For example, Dallas & Washington or Philadelphia.

I kind of like it. This is why I think the NFL needs to adopt Tex Schramm's formula of home team in White and visiting team in Dark colors. But for occasional games this could be done.

We actually did this in 2009 against the Chiefs (Dallas Texans).

Didn't the Cowboys play the skins @ home a few years back where the Cowboys wore throwbacks(or maybe it was the double stars with white sleeves) and the skins wore their dark jerseys?

Back when Roy Williams, the safety, made a crazy pick 6...

The throwback jerseys have become more palatable to me since the introduction of the throwback helmets. Love the silvers, but every Cowboy has to have a white hat.

To expand that idea. I think they should use alternate helmets for some games. Like the Lions and Cowboys helmets. They are so similar. I guess you can use the throwback but maybe a real alternate helmet could be used. I think the use of a white jersey is a little outdated with HD.

It would have to be against teams with red colors. Dark blue and green (philly) or maroon (was) would be too dark to go against each other.

I wouldn't mind seeing the dark blue vs. Wash. red. Philly would need to wear their Kelly Green jersys vs. our blue to make it work for me. I like our white vs. Giants blue. Just looks right.

The throwbacks for both teams if they played on Thanksgiving would be sweet!!

They did a few years ago. Denver in orange & Dallas in blue.
