Agreed. Wasn’t the best TE on his team. Just an athletic freakWhy does he remind me of Martellus Bennett?
Physical freak but does he have the feel to play TE?
I’m going against the grain here and don’t want him with 26th pick.
7Any questions about his catching ability now? He’s probably not going to even make it to #26 now. I can only wish he becomes a Cowboy.
Lol. He just ran short shuttle faster than all but 1 WR. He can get open.7

His catches each college season.
There were no questions about his catching ability.
4.65 is much faster than expected.
The issue is getting open. Tall players can't just repeatedly outreach defenders like many fans believe.
He might be a better blocker than the Cowboys backup OTs...He just tosses college defenders to the ground with ease.
I don't believe he'll go I'm the 1st. The top 3 TEs are really good and TE is a lower valued position in the draft than CB/WR/DL/OL.
Position value can be seen by looking at Franchise Tag values. TE is 2nd lowest.
I remember when QB Tom Brady couldnt beat out a baseball player in college and went on to become the GOAT as a pro.because his QB wisely threw it to a more talented TE.
Luke Musgrave might have something to say about that, but I like both of them.Kincaid is the best receiving TE in the class.
Interesting comparison. Won't have the GOAT throwing to him, though.
I remember Bill Musgrave too. Don't tell anyone how old I am. HaLuke Musgrave might have something to say about that, but I like both of them.
I remember watching Luke's father, Bill Musgrave, QB Oregon in a game at Ohio State when I was a student. Damn, I got old.
Honestly, you're just getting started. There's a ton of TE talent in this class.Man I got home & have been watching the TE groups for about 45 minutes. Get Darnell & another one of these beasts and improve our blocking plus give the QB 9 foot catch radius's. Don't even really worry about "WR" unless someone just falls in your lap. Restock the RB room and pound folks and dare them to cover your TE's when they do release.
Schultz is gone my friend. No chance they are paying himYeah, Washington is a nice prospect..just hasn't demonstrated he can be a force in the passing game.
But the tools are all there..
Thing is, we can't spend a 1st on TE and keep Schultz so they need to figure that out
.
We also have two younger guys. I like them both.
Take this kid at 26 and don't look back90% have 11” hands and can just palm a thrown football in mid-air?
Interesting comparison. Won't have the GOAT throwing to him, though.
Bill Musgrave is currently an NFL coach and has been since 1997.I remember Bill Musgrave too. Don't tell anyone how old I am. Ha
Bennett atleast had a great college career.Washington is all projection at this point,i am wary of any college players who dont have good college stats especially if the are going in the 1st RD.The 2003 player was:
Jason Witten
6-6, 264
4.65
In 2008 it was very close:
Marty B.
6-6, 259
4.68
