Jourdan Lewis was an All-American corner at Michigan, and was hands down a better college CB than DaRin Bland. Lewis has better natural instincts than many NFL Defensive backs. But what Lewis has always lacked is NFL speed. That is why he’s just not a viable NFL corner for outside receivers. It is also why a 6th round pick with less talent, but 4.35 speed has remained ahead of him on the Cowboys depth chart. Yes, I am talking about Anthony Brown.

On the other hand, Bland has better NFL size and speed than Lewis, and may be more naturally skilled than Brown. Bland has a better chance to be an impactful NFL corner than both Lewis and Brown in the long-term.

If the Kelvin Joseph can ever start living up to his draft status, the Cowboys are pretty deep at cornerback. By the end of this season, Jourdan Lewis, who is a good nickel cornerback, might just be the 5th best CB the Cowboys have. That’s a good problem to have.
We are stacked at a position for the first time in a while and some gotta take shots at guys. Lewis has been an excellent nickel corner for many years. Has been on some defenses that have had terrible pass rushers and still has performed as good as any nickel corner in the league. Always been a top 5 nickel CB his entire career, we are lucky to have him.

Sadly Tolbert already 24. I see Terence Williams in him.

sadly??? after a few snaps i mean 5 games into his rookie season, LOL the sad thing is fans constantly doing this and then player like Steele, Austin, NBrown develop. IN TIME
and if a 3rd rounder turns out to be Terrence, that not a bad pick.. he was good player who was bit inconsistent but could play. how we get to Tolbert off Bland vs Lewis .this place gets off topic quick.

however, lets let Tolbert play 2-3 seasons, then judge him, this is an overreaction and him not playing a lot goes to how much Brown developed and got play time, Gallup comes back.. we also had to quickly change our offense that was a bit more W/O with Dak and Moore running 3-4 WR sets to more run first PA pass team and do not need a deep WR core on Gameday, YET.

You can make all the excuses you want for Hill. He was not worthy of his draft slot. Lol. His return on investment is VERY poor up to this point. If he was not a second round pick he would be long gone by now.
you can say whatever you want, thats your opinion..... its not Fact.. sorry, its not how that works once the drafts over now its how the coaches feel and they sometimes need to develop players. hes still here and still can contribute, maybe be pretty good someday.

fans dont get to evaluate actual whose worthy. hes here he beat out other to make the roster, not because of his 2nd round status, simply coaches choose him.. now move on. it doesn't matter anyway.
