I went back and watched Brad Johnson play, I honestly don't see how we can win any games with a combination of Brad and our tackles.

Why would Darren Woodson pick the Cowboys? We are losers of our last 3 out of 4 games.

This team has zero heart, a ton of injuries and a questionable coaching strategy on both sides of the ball.

And much worse, we have Brad Johnson as our starting QB.

Im picking Tampa Bay to win this one.

The real issue with losing this game is that Tampa Bay is a very good football team and they were certainly capable of beating us even if we had no injuries and the circus is not in town.

So if we lose to Tampa Bay, it will probably be a legitimate loss but may spell the end for Wade Phillips.

I agree with you guys that aren't surprised. I wouldn't bet a dollar on this team right now. I'm hopeful, but not confidant.

Woodson in my eyes is picking with his head and not his heart. The way we have been playing as of late i am shocked we arent dogs in the game.

I agree with both you guys. I just wish he would've elaborated to hear what he thought. For the very reason he made the pick - he's honest and doesn't do the ESPN hype thing.

Woody said on 'Sportscenter Cold Hard Facts' that we don't win another game until Romo comes back.

Thats what im saying.

Garcia is on fuego right now too.

If Romo were playing this game would be a shootout. Since he isn't playing we will most likely just get shot.

Darren Woodson Picks the Bucs...

So do I.

Obviously I WANT the cowboys to win, but looking at it objectively... I just don't see it happening. Not unless our OL dominates the ground game, but they've been far from dominant lately so I don't think it'll happen.

I am so sick of Darren Woodson already..........get out of the analyst chair and get your butt in the Announcing booth where you belong Darren. Get a gig with Fox or NFL Network and start calling games. You are too intelligent, well spoken, and fair to be wasting away on those pregame shows.......

Oh and if you have any free time, please come to Irving and show our safeties how to play in space......

Thank you

As an aside, Darren Woodson better get into the hall of fame. He is one of those guys that you feel honored to cheer for.

I was a little surprised when Darren picked the Bucs.

He said yesterday that the Cowboys had the most important game this week. That statement I did agree with.

And what have they showed in important games? The ability to fold.

that was to fire us up!

The players shouldn't have to rely on Woodson to get fired up about this game. If they can't get fired up for this game, the season is over - period.

This game is huge, and will speak volumes as to how this team proceeds the rest of the year. If they lay a halfassed egg and lazy effort down this week, the fat lady will have sung. Injuries or not, this is about EFFORT.

I agree with most of your post except this part. This game has no barring on how we proceed the rest of the year as we get healthy. Romo, FJ, Kozier, TNew, and even Pacman make this a entirely different football team. I truely believe we'll be a totally different team after the bye. Romo alone, brings tons of energy to this team.....

I don't agree. This game is NOT about injuries. It is about EFFORT.

I don't care what players are in there. It's a no brainer they will play better down the road with the starters back in but...if this team does not show up this week, regardless of who is in there, we are in trouble.

I can handle losing this game if the effort is there (as you say, we have a lot of injuries), but my post was more towards the EFFORT given. If this team does not come out completely FIRED up and ready to play, Wade IMO, has lost this team and we are in trouble henceforth. That was really my point.

Injuries is just as important as effort. So you're telling me regardless of effort BJ is just as good as Romo, or Proctor as good as Kozier, or Jenkins as good as TNew. Sorry dude, I'm not buying it. That's why those guys are STARTERs cause they're better then their backups.. Don't misunderstand me, EFFORT is huge but injuries are just as important...

BTW, love your avatar. Haley is one of my ALL TIME favorite Cowboys and should be in the HOF... Just sayin....

You're not understanding my point (I don't think). There is no question we are down on talent right now. The backups are clearly not as good as the starters.

But if the backups, and the rest of the un-injured players/starters come out tomorrow and play lackluster, uninspired football, this team has some SERIOUS problems.

In other words, if they don't play to their potential (acknowledging, their potential is less than the normal starters) it is unacceptable. I don't expect them to play as well as the starters. I DO expect them to come out fired up and ready to play. If the players, backups or otherwise, can't play inspired football after the last couple of weeks, to me, it speaks volumes for the rest of the season.

Maybe we just disagree and that is perfectly fine, I just think, REGARDLESS of what players are in there tomorrow, if they don't feel the need to put forth their maximum effort, then there's disorder in the house. IMO/FWIW...
