I have not heard this, but if true good for Dat. He would be replacing Ken Norton, who followed Caroll to Seattle.

Hate to lose Dat who HAS had an effect on Carp and others as they have admitted. Give him a 5-7 years to get more experience and I Can see him becoming a DC. But this might be good for him as regards developing.

Last I heard Dat was just breaking down game film. Though I heard Wade's son was doing that now. Not sure what Dat has been doing. Maybe the same thing. He probably splits duty with Wade's son. Maybe he breaks down other teams, and Wade's son breaks down Cowboys film.

I hate seeing Dat go if it is true. Will Dallas survive without him? Of course but Dat has always shown passion and football intelligence and I have no doubt he has helped this team as a member of the coaching staff.

If we had to have another LB coach other than Herring, we could do a lot worse. Ware loves Pasqualoni.

As for Nguyen, oh well. I do not believe he is a huge loss other than the fact we were grooming him along and now lose him. I personally think Brooking would be an excellent coach when he decides to hang them up.

If he does he'll regret that decision, raising a family in LA is a horrible dilemma right now. His money and standard of living are better off in Dallas.

He is probably getting a significant increase in pay by taking this new job.

Dat did that on the defensive side of the ball. Wes Phillips does it on the offensive side of the ball.
