This thread, Carthon to hold Parcell's feet to the fire http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108688, got me thinking about our own minority coaches. I have heard good things about Brian Stewart, but I haven't heard much about how Dat is doing as a coach. Does anyone have insight to how he has done and been percieved as a coach this season?

I think the LB's are 13-3. LOL I should've been more specific. I wonder what the perception is around the league and through the media of how he is doing.

This won't answer your question, but I thought it was a real good article.

Don't forget Ray Sherman and Skip Peete too.

He's a quality control coach. I can't imagine there's much buzz going around the league about him as of yet.

Oh yeah, I've seen Todd Bowles name tossed around, too.

That was a good article. It's too bad there isn't more info on him. He was one of my favorite players and I would like to see him do well as a coach. I like Ray and Skip too. They're making their presence known with their work. I hope Dat gets that opportunity.

Yeah, Todd Bowles should get a chance.

I tried to do a search to see if there are any Native American coaches, but came up empty. :(

I doubt you REALLY know how good of a sentence that is regarding the hiring of a NFL head coach...;)

or, maybe no Native American's are interested in football...or coaching football.

May the best man win, is my motto...

Joe Avezzano was part Cherokee.

BTW, It's Dat Nguyen. lol.

I can see Dat being the DC of the Aggies sometime in the future... I remember on one play during the season, Dat told Wade to challenge one of the calls.

No problem Rakcet. ;)

Seriously, I see Dat going back to coach at A&M if he doesn't get a job in the Cowboys organization...

I bet if Dallas called all their defensive signals in Vietnamese the Patriots couldn't steal them.:)

Nah, they still could steal them!

Parcells tried some "jap" plays that did not work!

One of my favorite players also. Has great football knowledge. Its too bad he retired so soon. I hope he gets whatever job he wants.

How are the female coaches doing?

I mean it is appalling no women are not forced into jobs by the NFL.

They can call it the Tunahelper rule.
