Ring celebration will the Eagles all amped up to face they most hated rival. Cowboys will most likely be playing without Diggs, have Guyton returning from injury, throwing Clark out there on a short week will make this matchup very difficult. Not a no win situation, but one that is going to take a team effort.

Offense has to bring their A game to give the team a chance for success. Cowboy offense has been in bubble wrap, it is time to see what Schott/Adams has instore for this season.

Defensively it isn't so much about the yardage given up, I want to see this defense become better inside the red zone, where they were dead last in the league last season.

Clark is a grizzled pro bowl veteran. He'll bring it. Maybe not his best game but he will not the problem

25% of superbowl winners have lost opener since 2004 when schedules were made to have reigning champs kick off season.

Not un heard of for them to lose even play badly all season.

Does this mean it will happen? Of course not. Just a random factoid for those prop betting fans.

Dallas must keep the penalties to a minimum and win the turnover battle. Lamb and Pickens and Turpin will be a handful and that will open up the running game. Dallas will have a good running attack and Dallas wins 38-24.

Need a nickname for all three of our Clarks, but we get it but I have to think about it for a second... maybe just kenny who killed kenny.lol

As we have a linebacker named Clark and we have a safety who's probably on the practice squad also named Clark....

Literally no one thinks the Cowboys will win. So there is no pressure. If they lose, it was completely expected. Just take the L and beat the Giants in week two.
That's for fans you know last I checked I bet the players put pressure on themselves they not going to lay down they don't feel they're going to lose, they're not going into this game feeling like there's no pressure, because they're supposed to lose..

Players, at least normal players, do not read the headlines they don't care about the rankings This is not something they usually think about they're preparing to win this game... Typical coaches don't allow them to talk like this and not in practice, Not huddled in the corner somewhere of the locker room, and for sure in the meeting, they're talking about winning this game..

I mean do they have the ability to it's going to be a long shot but stranger things have happened.

That's why you have to put aside the rankings like I'm a Longhorn fan and I thought being number one was stupid and I guarantee going into OSU those Buckeyes we're pretty upset that they're the national champions they're playing at home And the Longhorns were ranked number one and getting all the hype..

Well, they did the talking on the field.....

What I hope is they're not too hyped up because they've been in bubble wrap they've been jumping at the bit to play they played no preseason games and a lot of these players were hurt last year especially Prescott I hope he doesn't come out like manning and have some wild passes in the first quarter..

It is what happens when you overthrow try to throw too hard try to do too much balls will tend to sail or be worm burners.... But I'm betting there's pressure because last year didn't turn out the way they wanted too many injuries now with all this social media drama this offseason they're playing the Super Bowl champions there's gotta be some pressure...

If we can withstand the early onslaught, minimize the errors, stay close, we give ourselves a chance . We need to match the energy and not panic.
LOL.

Man you guys are really overestimating this team.

Get ready for a flag fest. Errors? No starters played in preseason.

This is going to be a debacle.

Its ok though. If they get smashed you will all be here saying. Its one game its fine. Then pound your chests when they win against the Giants. IF they can even pull that off.

Philly may take us too lightly.

They will be amped up over the SB celebration, and underestimate us.
I think the Eagles realize there are 31 teams in the NFL that can beat them in a game. They won the Super Bowl over half a year ago. Don’t you think “amped up” now to the point it adversely effects their execution in a game is more hopeium than reality?

Both the Cowboys and Eagles employ professional athletes. They’re all well past middle school. No team wins a Super Bowl by ever taking opponents lightly.

Are you trying to tell me you think the Philadelphia Eagles starters played because I don't even think there's backup quarterback that they just picked up played any preseason not with their team I don't remember Jalen Hurts AJ Brown Smith or Saquon starting a single snap in preseason but show me where I'm wrong..

I mean most teams don't play their starters so you're going to have a game one that possibly has some sloppiness in the first half... I saw a lot of college games they have no preseason and they definitely looked a little sloppy..

Takes a little while to pick up game speed the physicality and getting your full game breath you know in full shape to play sixty minutes at full speed..

And the ones that did play some snaps in the preseason I don't think 20 snaps in the preseason is getting you ready for a 60 minute full out war against starters not against backups but playing against the real people with schemes and game plans...

point is, both teams might struggle in that area....

Amped up as buying into the hype when on the field starting this year. Unveiling their SB banner to get the fans hyped up, which may inflate their already big egos of being the champions. It happens.
It has nothing to do with 6 months ago.

Yeah but there's an old saying about Super Bowl hangovers sophomore slumps all these other things it's very difficult to repeat the targets on your back it actually the pressure is more trying to repeat at least that's what they say..
