Don't take it personal man, you know i always enjoy your opinion.

But i just have to give up on him. Like i said before, as long as he has a star i will still root. For any cowboy, as long as it means we are winning, i want them all to do good, but it won't mean i wont have any thing negative to say about them

I don't think alot of people give much thought to your homer Newman posts either, so it all works out.

that some of you aren't watching the rest of the NFL because if you think the Cowboys corners are the only ones who don't turn around when the ball is in the air, you're going to be in for a big surprise.

All any of you have to do is watch a couple of Packers' games and you'll see that whomever is playing against them, their CBs don't turn back either since Rogers' favorite passes are backshoulders and right over the top of CBs' heads.

Having said that, to hell with that poodle, coach FIFI ( Campo ).. He should NOT have been brought back this year. I know there are, probably, personal reasons for that, he has a son who needs special attention and he needs the insurance that comes with the job, but put him as a special scout or advisor or something, but get him off the damn staff. Keep him away from coaching or teaching anybody. The guy is a super great person, met him as a recruit back in '88 at UM, BUT he can't coach worth a damn.

As for the Cowboys corners: Jerry should have followed his initial instincts and cut Newman regardless of Nnamdi Asomugha's decision. Side note: Jerry, let Nnamdi's experience be a lesson from now on. Any player who's 29 years or older and he's not from your system: DO NOT open the bank vault for him. How good is that non-signing looking now ? But I digress. Newman should have been gone along with Biggs, Columbo, and Gurode. Yea, yea, I know Jenkins was hurting at the beginning of the season, but so what ? for Newman's base salary alone you could of signed a couple decent guys from the streets, a safety, and still have a ton of money left over.

Now Jenkins. I said it last week, and I'll say it again: barring major injuries, Scandrick will probably outlast Jenkins in the NFL, and definitely as a Cowboy. Jenkins problems are 2 folds: He doesn't prepare as well as he should, and he can't tackle. I would let the tackling issue slide a little IF he was an outstanding cover guy, but he's not that either. The difference between guys like Revis, and Deion, and Woodson, etc, and the often mentioned talented but underachieving CBs, that litter the league just about every year, is not the physical talent, it's the mental preparation.

CBs like Revis rarely get beat because, mentally, they not only can run the same routes as the receivers they're covering, but by time they step on a stadium on game day, they have created a plan to defend those routes. That's the key right there.

Unless Jenkins realizes that, he'll always be an underachiever and very soon a journeyman, at best.

If it was as simple as coaching guys how to do something, cb play in the NFL would be incredible. There's more to it than coaching.
