David Amerson

Hi guys, if we don't get a safety in the top 2 rounds due to the amount of appetizing trench players we can obtain how about David Amerson from NC State?

He played corner at NC State and many projected him as a top 10 selection due to his 13 ints his sophomore year.

He hasnt been talked about as much as his Junior year wasnt quite as good and is rated as a third rounder in many places. He did pretty well at the combine and I think he would make a great safety convert.

Could always draft a corner and move Carr to FS, I think he tackles well enough.

Yes, Amerson would make a good Safety; however, he will get drafted before many of the good college Safeties. There is no "secret" advantage to drafting him as a CB-Safety conversion.

No secret, that's for sure. People have mentioned him as a CB/S for awhile now.

I brought up Amerson a couple months ago. He was seen as a top CB prospect coming into this yr. But Im better the hype got into his head and tried to make every play. Giving up alot of big ones. Mike Jenkins rings a bell to me.

CB i think guy will be average. FS i think this guy turns into a antrell rolle type.

Better. He will be playing in Kiffin's system, where safeties can thrive. Especially physical ones with a nose for the ball.
