It didn't take long for David Irving to get back down to brass tax.

Missing four games to begin the NFL season due to a suspension did nothing to slow his impactful ways, with the Dallas Cowboys' veteran defensive end making his presence felt early and often against the Green Bay Packers. Irving lived rent-free in the personal space of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, registering three QB hits with two of them being sacks.

In only one game, he's already reached the third-highest sack total on the team.

It unfortunately wasn't enough to keep Rodgers and the Packers at bay, as the Cowboys went down 35-31 in a game they could've won handily if not for ill-timed mistakes on both sides of the ball. In spite of those missteps, Dallas still had a chance to alter the outcome in their favor. In a game of inches, they fell just short yet again when Rodgers just narrowly escaped Irving's third sack on his way to throwing what would be the game-winning touchdown...

I wish I could say I’ve seen flashes with Taco, but he’s yet to do anything in a regular season game.

Irving/Collins/Lawrence could be long term fixtures on this DL. Sure we may have to take money from another position but they’re good football players.

Irving is the only one I’m soso on out of the 3. I need to see more consistency, not just 2-3 crazy games a year.
