David Irving failed a drug test and is now facing a suspension

Maybe we should have doubled down on pass rushers in this past draft. Sigh.

When you have these stories of guys who beat the odds, and start to make a name for themselves - yes, I'm looking at you David Irving - it's frustrating when they get pinged for stuff like this. I know it happens a lot around the league, but yes - it definitely pisses me off. Not only is he letting the team down to start the season, but what about his own future. Would make me re-think giving him an extended contract, and big money, knowing he has been suspended for PED's. And letting his team down. Plus, this team has had suspensions every year for the last 4 or so at least - do these guys not see the cause and effect of this. Lawrence has gone through this, and with his bad back he probably wont get a second contract (or if they do, it wont be for big money), Gregory, McClain, yada yada yada.
With as great as this team has done with the Drafting side of things, missing someone to start each year is getting old, injuries can't be helped, drug suspensions - dumb, stupid, whatever you want to call it, they all apply.
Hire Jimmy back for a day, let him walk in - and fire someone's *** !
Send a frickin' message to these guys that this is absolutely not gonna be tolerated anymore. (And do it to someone who probably had no shot to make the roster so it doesn't hurt on the field) just like Jimmy did in the past..... : )

There is a social redemptive side to a tough love...and in the military, it took plenty of just that, for survival.

My dad was a lifer - Military Police. RSM. Tough love is all I know, made me the man I am today.
frustrating way to start the day for sure, and esp. Irving when so much was expected of him this year.

DE meetings must have some good treats in the chicken.

lol, 214th in Baumholder. I was a tanker one day, and Custom MP, the next while there. You had a tough route, being a 'Brat.'

Just wondering if defensive line meeting would sound like this when they all get back:

Tank: Your stupid
Gregory: No your stupid
Irving: I am stupid

Not funny, but Dallas could hold it's own weekly AA meetings...
