Very few, if any, are saying there was "some conspiracy". What many are saying is that the calls called and not called that hurt the Cowboys were much more costly in the grand scheme of the game and much more obvious to anyone watching on tv let alone the ref 7ft from the play.According to the ESPN Boxscore, there were 3 called on GB and 6 on us. So let's not act like they called a dozen on us and 2 on the Pack.
That was a poorly officiated game. But I don't believe there was some conspiracy that the league is out to get us.
The Butler call for instance took 3 points off the board and apparently has been called twice since 1984 and is normally not called. Rather, the coach is warned.
The Witten tackle should've been very hard to miss. That took away 7.
The missed holds that @theogt brought us were possibly equal to the holds by our db's that weren't called but were much easier for the refs to notice. There is a ref dedicated to watching for holds and he was right there watching. Hard to say how he could miss those two.
The Irving tackle hold was clear and would've given us a real chance at winning the game before ot.
The Pi on Brown was a hold and only good for 5 not enough for a fg.
My argument is that these calls were much harder to miss and it's a mystery as to how they were missed.
