David Irving Instagram

I'm starting to get worried because I still want him out there on game day. Where did I go wrong. (Did I also mention that I liked Ro, wasn't ashamed of having Hardy on our team & I have been on Randy's side since day 1.)
You sir are part of the problem

He has managed to miss 8 games in 2 season just by being stupid it is time to move with players this team can count on.

How exactly do you talk about your ability(s) on the field when you didn't play a single game the past season ?????????????????

I’m with you. I don’t need all my players to be choir boys. All teams need some dogs.

Unfortunately, it takes MUCH more than just natural ability. Many great athletes can't take a step to greatness because they aren't mentally equipped. Irving seems to fit in that category.
I could do without all the social media attention seeking.

Isn't it sad? Dude was just coming into his own on the field...absolute monster when he wanted to be....so sad to me....thug life is more important...acting like a ghetto ****** is more important...some people just aren't intelligent enough to see what's right in front of them, one day while working as a clerk at 7/11 he will look back on all of this and have such huge regret.

Regret may not be the right word, but the opportunity will have passed him by. It's too bad you can't give him Sean Lee's brain. Hell a schrew's brain might be an upgrade at this point. I jest, but man he has some serious entitlement issues.

Not showing up is considered a failed test.

And having already been suspended he is in the protocol.

The real question here is why he wasn't suspended last year

Well, if the league had done that it would have saved us some cap room and we just can't have that.

The thing that get me about this whole situation is the same fans who are trashing Irving are the same fans that trashed Gregory. He could have easily said went the Colt Beasley or Dez route and trash the team and management. He is a free agent and still wants to come back. That's rare these days

Yeah I don't get why people trash the guy. It's his life and we don't have anything to do with it. Same with Gregory. At one point I wrote him off but I was never one to say get rid of him. Wait and see. I'm not paying these guys. I have no problem waiting it out. That's not to say I'm not disappointed in Irving and was with Gregory. But I'm glad Gregory is back and would have no problem waiting out Irving too.

maybe someone should tell him he has to be ON the field for his "god given ability" to really matter. his head keeps him from doing just that.

That part of the equation has obviously not occurred to him.

I don't think he's even bright enough to realize that he's subject to suspension for all of his missed tests. I think he believes he can step right back on the field as soon as he feels like it. I think the kid is delusional.

some people think talent erases bad behavior. if anything these days, it amplifies the spotlight on you and that bad behavior? not good for the player at that point, period.

The last thing in the world this guy wants to do is go to football practice.

He doesn't like football.

Why do we continue with guys who simply don't want to play?

Well, there is a difference between a junkyard dog and a big useless stupid mutt. LT was nobodies idea of a saint but that guy was one of the top 5 defensive players I've ever seen and he might have been the most feared. It was real close between he and Deacon Jones. Irving, he will never be confused with an LT. When you don't have those kinds of skills, then off the field issues aren't overlooked and that's what this kid is, apparently, to stupid to comprehend.

Sometimes you get things right sometimes you get them wrong.
My takes on DI for a year plus have been spot on.
You can't fix not loving the game.

Adios Muchacho.

Not sure where ANYONE sane would compare the two.

LT loved football AND partying but he loved football.
DI simply could care less about football beyond taking pride in being good at it.

LT played in 16 games in 5 of his first 6 league seasons and he did so again his very last season.
He was a cokehead that didn't miss games.
He was not a guy that disliked football.

Does he think he is still playing? Has the NFL let him know that he is suspended yet? I think he has been suspended for it for once already. This is 10 games I think?
