Lost in the win is the return of David Irving.

Irving is probably the best DT in the league on a per play basis. Hopefully he is in shape.

I guess we can enjoy him for his yearly 8 games

Will probably take David some time to get in game shape but he will make an impact on the rush.

Since both Woods and Collins are banged up, I wonder who gets cut to make room for Irving?

I would keep Caraun Reid since we don't know if Irving is in playing shape.

As the old joke says, gram for gram he is the best DT in the NFL.

I agree with your point though, Irving is a huge add if he shows up playing like last year. Also Taco and Gregory didn't show up in the stat sheet much but really contributed in this game. Irving at 3T and Crawford to a utility role makes them even better.

I was under the impression that David Irving would be back for the fifth game of the season. Am I mistaken? I haven’t seen any stories about his return but he would certainly help the interior once he was in football shape.
