I think the Cowboys are waiting for TWill to be suspended. After a suspension, his money is not guaranteed. Assuming TWill is going to get suspended, would be nice if TWill gets suspended this week.

Nah he’s in shape. He’s been working out with Jay Glazer and the last two weeks in the facility. Apparently he’s on an all paleo diet and has cut down to 290 which is his playing weight. Came in to OTA’s at 315 lol.

Irving’s the type of guy to buckle down when attempting to prove everyone wrong, then once he’s in the clear he gets a bit careless.

Yes but he needs to get into game shape, his athleticism will allow him to play now but they will work him in a little at a time.

Since both Woods and Collins are banged up, I wonder who gets cut to make room for Irving?

I would keep Caraun Reid since we don't know if Irving is in playing shape.

But, but, but, Randy Gregory…

Not calling you out at all, but the fact that Gregory starts is comical, but oh so Cowboys.

According to Football Outsiders, over the first 3 weeks of the season Gregory only played 20.6% of the defensive snaps, so he is really not being used as the primary RDE. That's the lowest % of any D-Lineman on the Cowboys. Taco played 72.1% of the defensive snaps. Even Dorance Armstrong was used more the first 3 weeks (31.9% of the time).

The stats aren't out for the Lions game yet. ​

Lot of talk about him needing to get back into game shape coming off a suspension, which I think is really unfair. People need to give him the proper credit - he's very experienced at coming back from suspensions at this stage

I think the Cowboys have the players to be a very aggressive defense with Erving coming back. Even without him the boys have been playing good defense. If those risk players can stay clean we have a Doomsday possible defense! I am excited about this team . I love how Vander Esch has been playing , I approve of him being drafted.
