Day 1 Draft Thread

I preferred Jacas to Lawrence by quite a bit. The second pick was a bit of a reach to me, but the Downs pick while moving two fifth round picks to fourth round picks is quite a win. We really need a young LBer with potential now.

Jacas is a solid player, I like him a lot too. Lawrence is basically a RE/DPR. They have 3 of those now with EZE, Houston and Lawrence. I don't think they will draft another edge to go along with Gary, unless it's a late round Special Teams type like Ethan Burke from Texas. With this start I expect Clowney might be resigned after the draft as a bigger edge setting type player. Jacas will be a very solid player for whomever drafts him. Lawrence has a lot of potential and shouldn't be shuned until after he mucks it up his second season. I think he will work out though.

Slight reach on Lawrence but we got our pass rusher.

What a great freaking 1st round!
They loved the player and recouped the picks lost in the Downs trade up with higher picks. Those picks could now be used with 93 to move up

I could see them trading up to get MLB Josiah Trotter, Missouri if he falls far enough. I am extremely high on Jack Kelly but I doubt they are. Elarms-Orr is the player to watch for at 92 for them.

Is there any way Dallas could get back in the 2nd round and draft Jacob Rodriguez, could Dallas trade up with lower picks and maybe trade a roster player to get Rodriguez. Dallas could maybe trade a 3rd next year I want Rodriguez bad. What are the options here.

Im not sure. I'm just a horse haha. In all seriousness, I would hope maybe the two early 4s?
