imo Phins are the team to watch for Delane but they should go Oline since they gutted their team.

I know you may disagree but I'm not convinced they would take Downs even if he drops to 12. It has nothing to do with him, per se but $33M invested in Thompson, a player with similar traits. Not to mention, he was hand-picked by Parker, knowing probably 80-90% of what he needed to know about Downs.

He was handpicked by our new DB coach. I disagree, he fits CP's nickel role to a tee and would be shocked if they passed him. Don't see him falling though, too good of a player.

They might. I hear the Giants like Reese and Bailey and are focused heavily on offensive linemen. I see love falling to Washington or Cleveland.
 
Guys the more I stew on this Pickens situation the more I feel the Jones boys have something big in the hopper for tonight. Jay Glazer is saying as much but not naming who it is or naming the teams involved. Why else would Stephen Jones announce to the world negotiations are over with Pickens? That should raise our antanae guys. Where's theres smoke there's fire. Maybe the Jets want Pickens? Food for thought. Dont forget, Jerry and Stephen have ties to ownership there.Just last year we traded for Quinnen Williams. Why not work another deal involving Pick?

He's a luxury we can't afford with a $33M player with similar traits already signed. Notice there hasn't been any talk/whisper linking him to us lately. Interestingly, we have seen/heard trade up for Styles, Bailey and Reese but not Downs. As stated, nothing to do with the player. We need that pick on a greater position of need ( LBer, edge or CB ).

Yes, they have been mentioning 3 players in Styles, Delane and Downs are the ones they are interested in moving up for if a scenario presents itself. Thompson is going to move around, but he main position is going to be free safety.

The market for Pickens is significantly smaller than most fans...there is a reason we got him for a 3rd.
 
The Giants arent drafting an undersized Safety at #5 overall when they have a new coach that likes to run the football.

It will be Love at 5 and a tackle or WR at 10
