I am not so sure.

Look at his "hits".

He has yet to hit on an interior DL pick. They have mostly been horrific.

You have to talk yourself into thinking that Maliek Collins qualifies as a hit.
Does Irving count? He handpicked him off KC's practice squad.

But you're right. I wonder how much of that has to do with Rod thinking he's so good at coaching guys up, that we wait until day 2/3 to draft interior DL or rely on UDFA's.

So what is the plan? Post here during the draft?

Or go to that strange chat thing?

I only went there because I was looking for @Corso.
I ain't going no chat room. It's a free for all and nobody knows who you are talking to....

Depends what you want out of your safety.

There's a lot of things that Rapp is better at than Thornhill.

This is what people don't see.

They just think "safety" and think ballhawking and coverage.

Thornhill is a player that fits both qualities.

It is not like we are likely to have a choice between the two.

But Rapp would improve this defense immensely just the same, but in a different way.

This Trysten Hill fetish in the 2nd round must stop.
Asinine.
It's unreal.

The team's official site has him as the best available option for #58!

Has anyone seen anything, anywhere, that projected Trysten Hill going any higher than Dallas at #58?

I hope this is just an elaborate misdirection, and I hope Hill has a fine NFL career, and I'll eat crow if he does it with a star on his helmet, but please no.

I guess they just love to put these kids on these shows and watch them snivel and cry.

Guys I most want

OL
Taylor, Ford, Erik McCoy

I think OL could be our biggest need because we still don't know about Frederick or Smith going forward. We may need OL starters next year if these guys aren't healthy there.

RB
Hill, T Williams, Montgomery

CB
Murphy, Greedy Williams, Joejuan Williams

I don't think we need safety as much as others. And there's value in the later rounds for that position anyway. If Rapp is around at 58 that's about the only one I would want.

Whomever made this list is an idiot. There is no reason why people like Hill and Ferguson should ever be rated ahead of A.J. Brown or even Samuel. Rapp or Smith.

This is more like a foreshadowing I would guess.

If it is, we have serious talent evaluation issues.
Agree 1000%.
There are 5 wr, 3 ol, 4 /5 CB, 3/4 safeties, 3 RB, other DT all before hill and Ferguson...

So, say we do exactly as is predicted. Will you still have confidence in our braintrust?

I know I won't.

Hopefully this is just insider propaganda that way when he gets picked at #90 that we are like OMG WHOTTA STEAL

They have to sell it Blue.

They are hired stooges.

You know the interest is real if those idiots are now building him up.

NFL Network just said the Colts would make a play for Trysten Hill. They said there was a lot of buzz surrounding him.

Well.

On one hand, Hill sucks at 58.

On the other hand, when they take him, we will super reach for another DT lol

Great. So now we'll trade up for him while Rod break dances in our war room.
